We got chores done and headed out to market. IR choose to ride in "pawpaw's truck" so I met them there.
IR was such a good girl and she colored the morning away .
Sales were pretty slow today so we had time to play and she loved that.
Hubbie took her to the dump and they brought back lunch for all of us. Hubbie and I had sub sandwiches and IR had mac and cheese which she loved.
We all left market and headed home to get unloaded and head over to the hospital. They had put the feeding tube in CA today and she was gaging and fighting it pretty hard when we got there. Daughter had a really bad migraine, I'm sure from having to help hold CA while the nurse inserted the tube and dealing with watching her in such an uncomfortable situation.
I sat and held CA to calm her down while daughter tried to sleep off the migraine.
Son-in-love came in from work and went down to get her some food to maybe help but she could only get a few chips down before she got sick at her stomach.
I fed CA and she ate more than half of her milk from the bottle then the nurse put the remainder in the feeding tube.
We all held our breathe that she wouldn't throw the tube up with the milk. Thankfully she didn't throw anything up.
I cleaned up for daughter and them hubbie and I took IR and left so maybe she could sleep some.
It was late so we dropped IR off to swing with RL while hubbie and I got chores done as these girls always have fun together.
We walked down and picked her up and she talked the entire walk back but we couldn't understand a thing she was saying !!!
She had taken a short nap on the way home so bedtime required a little longer version of peppa tonight but she went to sleep and slept all night and without turning sideways like she did last night so we all got a good night's sleep.
To continue the decade series for this month there was a lot going on in July of 1989 with three kids. Hubbie was the Cub Master for the local Cub Scout troop and we filled the month with scouting activities.
#1 son was the cub scout at the summer scout camp and he enjoyed the water activities.
He is in the black shorts with gold stripes up the sides.
He is looking pretty lost in this activity !!
I was a councilor and we had a "tag along" group of all the councilor's younger kids and #2 son and daughter were members of this group.
We also went on a camp out that month in Mills River.
And went swimming at a local motel pool.
Fun times with these kids and a busy season in our lives for sure.
My aunt Carol and uncle Bob came for a visit that month with one of their daughter's , Pat and her family and took my mom to the Biltmore House with them. Hubbie is helping set up army cots for their kids to sleep on at my mom's house. #2 son and daughter are making sure he does it correctly !
Daughter fixes cousin Susie's hair.
And the Curb Market celebrates it's 65th year in business.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for CA really hard tonight.
God Bless and good Night.
