RECORD SETTING COLD DAY

Another dreary and cold low 50's morning. Everything is wet like it has rained already but it is just so humid and foggy with so much moisture in the air.
I got chores done and then came inside to wish IR good luck at the dentist where she is having a molar puled this morning.
CA stayed her with us. I had a cup of coffee for breakfast because I just didn't have an appetite this morning.
RL and d-in-love came up so that d-in-love could have a phone meeting with a bank lady about refinancing their house.
RL played with CA to her delight .

Addie came to stay when her mom went to work at 11:00.
Unfortunately IR didn't get her tooth taken care of but got referred to a different dentist in Asheville. When the took an x-ray it looked like the tooth might be getting infected and IR pitched such a fit that he said he didn't think the laughing gas would work on her. I guess she remembered how much it hurt last week when he picked at the tooth.

When they got home we all had lunch together and then everyone just chilled on this rainy cool day.

It was a good day for naps and snuggles.
After everyone left hubbie and I took his truck and went to Tractor Supply to pick up a chicken coup for the new chicks while they grow.
We looked around yesterday and didn't find any materials laying around to build a coup ourselves out of so thankfully our local Tractor Supply had 2 of these new designs so we thought we try one.

It is called a Cumberland Cottage and all the reviews were pretty good. We have always built our own coops so this will be the first purchased coop we have.
We hopefully will get it put together tomorrow.
Hubbie and I watched the early news this evening and then got chores done.
There was only 2/10ths inch of rain in the gauge from a misty messy day. We set a record around here for the coolest day ever at 58 degrees for a high temp.
I baked a pound cake tonight and then relaxed for the evening.
