WONDERFUL SUNDAY

A really nice morning to be able to spend some extra time under the warm covers as I look out the window at the snow still clinging to the roof of the sunroom.      Outside to get chores done I was slipping and sliding all around with the ice that fell on top of the snow and was now starting to melt with the 33 degree temperature.  After chores I had breakfast then we started getting ready for Sunday lunch. We put a ham in the instant pot and potatoes in the oven, green beans and corn on the stove top and I made a ramen noodle coleslaw that was very good and also for dessert I made apple crisp.  #1 son's family, #2 son and Tif, Aa's family were here for lunch and daughter and then girls came in to eat a little later after CA woke from her nap.  Everyone had a nice visit and enjoyed the food.  After they all left hubbie and I went out to get chores done . The fog looked like frozen snow covering the mountains this evening.

Most of the snow that fell has melted away now with temps getting into the upper 30's today.

Back inside we had a nice supper of left overs and then relaxed for the evening.   The weathermen are saying we are in for another interesting night with more snow by morning.

Daughter added another member to her family yesterday as she decided to become a guardian family for one of Quin's, the mama dog that they have already been guardians of puppies.. Meet Winnie and IR is definitely in love with this puppy and I'm pretty sure this puppy has a fancy for IR.

This was typically the way to end a January with snow on the ground and cold temps. Over all this first month of 2021 has been a good one. Schools have stayed virtual all month giving the virus time to slow a bit. The weather has been pretty typical except for a few warmer days. We have seen snow on several occasions but not much accumulation. We are still enjoying vegetables from our winter gardening experiment and did our last rooster harvest of the year. I have got a basement cleaning project started and only like 1/4 of the basement to getting it all cleaned out. I have room now for my exercise equipment and have started using my ski machine to get my heart rate up and make my legs stronger. Aa's family was in a bad auto accident this month but thankfully they are all okay and are working on getting a new vehicle and settling with insurance. Good news for our family came on a couple occasions and I am looking forward to sharing more about that in the near future. Very thankful for the blessings from God that we received this month and looking forward to what He has in store for us in the new month.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

SNOWY AFTERNOON

Up to a cold cloudy Saturday morning. After chores I had a nice leisurely breakfast and then started cleaning house and changing out some of the decor from the blue "snowmen" of January to the red "hearts" of February.  Hubbie helped with the cleaning then went up to his woodshed to stack firewood that blew over in the wind this week.     I worked continuously until it was time to leave for the Curb Market annual stock holders meeting.  Hubbie and I put on our best protective mask and stayed away from all the other meeting goers.  The meeting was a terrible meeting with not many stockholders there at all.     I resigned from the board today because one of the other vendors stood up and berated me as a board member for not attending market regularly over this past year and basic asked the other vendors not to vote me back on the board. So rather than wait to see if I would be voted off I resigned saying there was too much work in the treasurer position to take the abuse I was being given in this meeting and I do not agree with the direction one of the newer board members is insisting in taking the market with turning the parking lot into a paid lot even on market days and joining with a man that in my opinion has a pretty shady work history.  So I felt it was time to hand over my checkbook and keys.  This covid-19 virus could be very devastating to CA with her heart disease and it isn't worth me taking the chance to bring it home to her as many market members have battled the virus over the last several months.   I still am a stockholder and will eventually be putting something back on my table to sell when the spread of this virus is at least slowing down.  My family and I have all gotten use to the regular abuse from people who do not believe in any of the recommendations for staying safe during this virus so we have steeled ourselves to stick with our convictions and just walk away from the abuse.  I will say one thing that this virus has done for me and that it surely has opened my eyes to the true type of person some people really are and some of them being so called friends and even clergy has forever changed my feelings toward them.                                                                                                    Hubbie and I came home after the meeting and had just gotten something to eat when we looked out the window and saw it was pouring snow.

The "snow flowers" quickly bloomed on the Azalea bushes around the porch.

The snow was really heavy and covered the ground quickly to about 1 inch before it slacked off and we headed out to get chores done.

D-in-love and RL walked up while I was taking care of my "hen pecked" rooster's head and she snapped these pictures of RL and I with him.  He is a very calm rooster and I cannot figure out way in the huge lot he stands and lets the pullets peck his head bloody.

RL had to make a "snow angel" before they left for home.

I came inside and hubbie and I were glad to hunker down with the warmth of the wood stove for the evening.  The forecast for our area looks pretty daunting with snow and ice be morning.

Thankful for the Lord's guidance today and for all the blessings He showers me with each day.

FULL "WOLF" MOON TONIGHT

Thankful to wake up to a calm morning today. All three grand girls are here today and already into playing as I get out to do the morning chores. The ice is very think on the water pans this morning after a 21 degree low this morning. I came back inside and had breakfast with the girls then I iced the 3 cakes I baked last night. One of the ladies wants hers this morning so thankfully I had time to get the icing done. We loaded up and met her then picked up lunches for the kids. CA slept while the rest of us had lunch then she woke up and had her lunch. Re had called and ask me to pick up lunches for EL and BB also so they stopped by for a few minutes to pick those up and let the kids all play together.  She is still trying to get information about what the insurance is going to do about the wreck they had a couple weeks ago.  Seems the truck that his her isn't carrying enough insurance to cover the cost of her vehicle which is a total loss. After she left RL, IR and CA played the rest of the afternoon until they were picked up.  Hubbie and I got chores done and then came inside to watch the weather which has changed and our weekend snow has now become a short ice event followed by rain all day Sunday.  I did my skiing exercise again tonight because I can tell my legs are getting stronger and it gets my heart rate up for about 20-25 minutes a day anyway.  We rest the evening and am thankful we got our internet back up this evening.   This large "wolf moon" was so pretty tonight as it rose through the trees.

This pic was another one taken here in WNC by someone who is a much better photographer than me !!!

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

WINDY WINDY DAY

Wow !!!!!  What a night and morning we are having. Hubbie has been up since 5am listening for trees falling all around in the strong wind we are having.  He said he has never heard the wind this strong around here. He felt a tree fall earlier and when he checked it was a large oak tree down in the pasture thankfully. We still have the very large oak tree that is leaning over the living room area of our house that the guy that came out the first week in November and said he would take it down in about 3 weeks. I called him the first of December and he said it was still on his list but the weather had him behind. We have not heard from him since. I actually was going to call someone else this coming week but now probably will have to wait because I'm sure all the tree people will be extremely busy now.  Thankfully we didn't have any more damage except for a limb that hit a dog house but didn't go through the roof in to it. Limbs covered out yard and garden but we can pick them up as we are just humbly thankful we didn't even loose our power , only our internet service along with the schools internet service so virtual school had to be canceled for the day.  I got chores done and then I had breakfast with IR and CA who had arrived before school was called off and daughter still has to do grades and things online at her house because she has a different internet service and her internet is still working.  We loaded up in hubbie's truck and ran our weekly errands , the PO, the dump / recycle center, Sav Mor grocery store, and a stop by sis-in-law Sandy's to pick up some things she had bought for me to give the girls, and we picked up lunch and headed home. As I looked at IR pretending to drive the truck I thought about g-son now old enough to drive and I know that it won't be long before this little girl will also be old enough to be learning how to drive.

The wind is still crazy strong .  We all ate lunch and then the girls played dress up all afternoon.

After the girls were picked up hubbie and I went out to survey the damage and get chores done. Thankfully we didn't find anything else but some tarps that had blown off several covered things.  We came back inside to get ready for a cold night as the temps is already falling into the lower 20's tonight. I Did my skiing exercise tonight and then baked 3 caramel cakes. 1 for a family meal after a funeral at church Saturday and luckily a couple other ladies called for cakes tomorrow and Saturday.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and very very thankful for God's protective arms around us with all the strong winds today.

THUNDER TO SNOW MAYBE ???????

Up to greet all 3 grand girls this morning. It has been a very warm overnight and this morning it is still 52 degrees as I head out to do chores.  It is cloudy and pretty apt to stay that way all day so I didn't open the ends of the plastic tunnels this morning.  Back inside I had breakfast with the girls and then we colored in their books for a while.  We all loaded up and headed out to pick up lunches so CA would go to sleep.  And she did go to sleep as soon as we started down the drive. We came home and RL ,IR , hubbie and I had our lunch. I put the kale greens I picked yesterday in the instant pot and they were very good. I had those with a salad and some of the deviled eggs I made last night.  Hubbie had a fish sandwich and greens, RL had some canned lasagna and IR had mac and cheese.   When CA got up she had mac and cheese and corn for her late lunch.  We all played the afternoon away inside as the girls tried going outside for a little while to eat a popsicle but decided it was too chilly to stay out there to play. The temperature is still in the lower 50's with clouds and a breeze.                                                   Daughter, son-in-love and d-in-love came in to pick up the girls and brought some more good news for our family .    After the girls left hubbie and I went out to get chores done a little early because the rain is moving our way quickly.   I came inside and watched the news while hubbie went to daughter's to pick up her trash.  When he got back we relaxed for the evening.                                                             After the thunder the other night I was looking for this to happen and if this weatherman is right it is coming this weekend.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

SPRING DAY IN JANUARY

Woke to IR and CA only today and a very dense foggy morning outside. We had thunder storms pass through last night and we are thankful we only got rain as the storms did damage in alot of other places.     I got chores done and then we had breakfast.  After we ate we loaded up and headed to town to get some market business done.  I stopped by our accountant's office for the employees W-2 forms and then went to market to make a deposit and take care of some business there.                                                                        It took longer than I expected at market and we were after 12:00 getting lunches and getting home and the girls were hungry.  #2 son was here when we got here looking for some cloth to recover some chair cushions. I helped him find a couple choices for Tif to choose from and get the equipment he needed to get the job done.   While he a nd I were in my sewing shop hubbie had the girls inside feeding them lunch.   After son left I had my lunch then the girls wanted to go outside on this nice unseasonable January day. It was 70 degrees and sunny but a cool breeze made you want a light jacket.  The girls had a great time playing and sliding and running around in the nice weather.

Daughter came and took over pushing them  on the big swing.

After d-in-love came home she brought RL up to play a little while because RL heard IR and CA playing and wanted to join the fun.  After they all left hubbie and I went out to get chores done. The clouds are moving back in quickly this evening to bring more rain by tomorrow morning.
The almost full "Wolf" moon was visible just for a little while before the clouds covered it tonight. It will be fullest on Thursday so with the rain and snow in the forecast through then this might be the only time I see it.

Hubbie and I gathered kale, carrots, bok choi, swiss chard and broccoli from the covered vegetable beds before recovering them with the plastic this evening. It is so nice to have this much fresh produce still available just steps from the back door. And it is so yummy !!!!

We relaxed for the evening . Since their wreck EL and BB have been suffering from minor concusions and have been having trouble with the screen light on their computers during their morning virtual school lessons so they have been wearing blue light glasses to help reduce the glare. I think they look very studious in their glasses .

Thankful for all the wonderful blessings of this day.

KEEPING THE FREEZER STOCKED THANKFULLY

Monday morning starting another busy week. All 3 grand girls were here today and ready to get moving. I got chores done and we all had breakfast together. After we ate we loaded up and made a trip to Fletcher feed for chicken feed. It is a rainy day day and I am glad I have this SUV with enough cargo space to haul my feed in the dry.  There was already 1/2 Inch in the gauge at chore time this morning and it rained lightly all day. I forgot to check the gauge this evening.  We picked up lunches on the way home from Fletcher and all ate lunch when we got home as CA woke from her nap and refused to go back to sleep when we got home. After lunch I got laundry started and got 3 loads done between playing with the girls and getting them snacks and what ever kept them happy.   After the girls left hubbie and I went out to get chores done. It is really muddy and slick everywhere and I was sliding all around in the chicken lots. Thankfully I didn't fall down but came close several times.  Aa hauled some steers to a processor today and Re and the kids rode along so Re could shop in their fresh meat market for all of us.  They had gotten home while we were getting chores done so we headed over to their house to pick up our chicken and pork and get daughter's and take it to her house.  We came home and used our vacuum sealer to repackage some of our meats for the freezer. We got some of their chicken thighs before and they were very good so we got some of those and some pork chops, bacon and sausage. Thankful to these efforts we are continuing to keep our freezer stocked.   I finished putting away the last load of laundry and then did 3000 strides on my "ski" exerciser tonight before my knee started hurting . Hopefully I can continue to increase the distance and make my legs and knees stronger before warm weather hits this spring.  As I sit here typing this tonight I can hear thunder !!!!   I guess we can expect snow within the next week !!!!

Thankful for the wonderful blessings of this day.                                                                                              God Bless and Good Night

QUIET BLESSED SUNDAY

Up to a nice leisurely Sunday morning. The sun is shining but there was pretty thick ice on the water pans from the earlier morning 26 degrees.  After chores hubbie got beef stew started in the crock pot while I cut up a Delicata squash to go in the oven and peeled apples for apple crisp. I used the last of our golden delicious apples we had bought last fall today. These kept very well out in the cool sunroom.  We had #1 son's family, Aa's family and daughter's family here for lunch today.  Everyone had a nice visit.       After they all left I put away laundry while hubbie went down to help #1 son get a shed he is building covered so tonight and tomorrow's rain won't wet everything. I did a little more work in the basement and then got out my "ski" machine and did 2,000 steps on it . MY knee started hurting so I stopped feeling like that was a good start and tomorrow I can start increasing the steps each day. I did chores early because dark clouds rolled in and wanted to get inside before the rain started. I had to pick up a Walmart order at 7:00 tonight and then we dropped some things off at daughters.  We came home to rest for the evening and I got caught up with sis-in-love Sandy.   We don't talk often so when we do it takes a long time to catch up on everything. She is still having trouble from her car wreck and bro-in-law had the covid virus right before Christmas but did okay thankfully with just a really bad sore throat and really tired. Sis-in-law had no symptoms at all so she doesn't know if she had it and didn't know it or not.   They watched their grandkids open Christmas presents from outside their houses through windows !!    This is such a weird disease that effects everyone so differently it is the craziest thing I have ever seen.  I am just glad they didn't get really sick or in the hospital.  I thank God everyday that our family is all healthy and covid free for another day along with all the other blessings He gives us.                                                                                                    God Bless and Good Night

MORE BASEMENT CLEAN OUT

Up to a nice warm morning.  I got chores done and then tackled more basement cleanout. It is warm enough to have the basement doors open so that the dust won't get too bad as I clean out things that have been here for a long time. Hubbie brought his truck down and we loaded up some of the baby things and took them down to the shed where all the other baby things are stored and unloaded. Then we came back to the basement and loaded the truck up again with trash and "Goodwill" items.  It is nice to be able to see everything that is down in the basement now at least in the front part that used to be daughter's apartment. Now I only like about one fourth of the total basement space to clean out over where the big freezer is and all my canned goods are. Hopefully I can get that done in the coming days and be done with the basement so I can move upstairs for some cleanout. This is usually my month of March cleaning but this January has been so long and boring I am glad to get a head start on the annual cleaning.  Since the government has delayed tax filing this year until the second week of February that will give me more time.                     IR and CA came to stay with us while daughter and son-in-love delivered some baby shower cakes and cupcakes daughter had made. Son-in-love had to drive so daughter could hold one of the cakes on the way there to be sure the layers didn't slide. RL came up to play with them also while her mom made a trip to the dump.  We played outside with the girls in the nice sunshine.                                                                     After all the girls were picked up we got chores done and then rested for the evening, hoping for a much calmer Saturday night this week than we had last week.                                                                                   Thankful for the blessings of this day.

GRAND GIRLS ARE FUN

Up to greet all three grand girls this morning. It was cloudy but the sun was winning the battle as I got out in the upper 30's already temps to get chores done.  I didn't sleep well last night and I feel like I am moving much slower than usual today.   Back inside we all had breakfast and then I played with the girls until time to go pick up lunch.  On Friday we always get food for the weekend too and the girls are always excited about what might be in the extra bags.  CA took a good nap and still slept when we got home so that the rest of us could have lunch before she woke up.   CA is not in a good mood today and wasn't ready for lunch but wanted to join the big girls in their drawing and coloring. RL has lots of patients with CA and let her help her on her picture.

After CA finally ate a little lunch we all went to the living room to play and RL and IR wanted pics made of them so I was glad to oblige.

I pray that these girls are always best friends and have each other's back as they get older.
After the girls left this evening hubbie and I went out to get chores done. We got the covers back out for the garden beds because the temperature overnight is supposed to be in the mid 20's and we here are usually on average about 5 degrees lower then the forecast.  The sun went down in a blazing ball of fire glory this evening.

We came inside and had a light supper and then relaxed for the evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.

21 st OF THE 21st OF THE 21st

Welcome to the 21st day of the month in the 21st year of the 21st century !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woke to IR and Ca coming in this morning. I got chores done and then we all had breakfast together.          We got ready to go run our weekly errands this morning. We made stops at the dump / recycle center and then made a stop at CVS for me some apple cider gummies to hopefully fend off any more gout attacks.  We also stopped for lunch and then came home for lunch. CA slept while hubbie, IR and I had lunch and then she ate her lunch when she woke up. She didn't sleep long enough and was pretty ill tempered all afternoon as the girls played together . I got together another seed order since I couldn't find the green bean seeds I wanted at the first place I ordered from.  Tod ay was a pretty boring day as it was too cold to spend any time outside .  After daughter picked up the girls hubbie and I did chores then rested the evening away.  A boring day that I feel like isn't worthy of taking up content room on here but anyway this is a part of our life and sometimes the journey isn't very exciting.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

DENTIST DAY FOR IR

Up to greet all three grand girls this morning. I got chores done and then we had breakfast. After we ate the girls played the morning away.  IR has a dentist appointment at noon to have the spacer between her capped molars put back in after it fell out this past weekend. She hates going to the dentist but we are hoping this visit will help her get over her fear since there should be no shots, drills or pain. Hubbie took her over to daughter's about 11:00 and was going to stay with g-son while he finished his school for the day.  RL , CA and I loaded up in the Honda and went to pick up lunches. CA went to sleep as soon as we headed out and after we got home RL helped carry the food in while I carried CA in and put her on the couch to finish her nap.  RL and I had our lunch and hubbie came in also to eat with us.  He said g-son wanted to go home and didn't want any lunch right now.  CA had a good nap and then woke in a great mood to eat her lunch and then play with RL.  Daughter called and said IR did pretty good at the dentist while they cemented the spacer back in place.  The she got to go pick out a toy with her Christmas money for being so good.  When they got here she was happy to share her toy and even brought a surprise for RL and CA.  They played together while daughter did some work.   After they all left hubbie and I got evening chores done and then I did weekly paperwork and paid bills for the week.  We rested for the rest of the evening..

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

WINTER GARDEN STILL PRODUCING

A "Monday" morning on a Tuesday with the arrival of IR and CA only this morning. I got chores done and then we all had breakfast together.  IR and CA played together this morning while I got all the jars put away that I emptied yesterday and put through the dish washer last night and I put away some laundry and did some ironing before it was time to load up in the Honda and make an egg delivery and pick up lunch.   Back home hubbie, IR and I had lunch while CA slept a good nap. IR loved the hamburger lunch we picked up today. I had some of the left over chicken and rice from Sunday and the last sweet potato that I had baked last Friday. It is nice to have left overs so not much thought has to go into fixing lunch for hubbie and I.  The girls had a good afternoon after CA woke up and had her lunch. They played together very well and it was a calm time for me to do a little more work on the market end of the year figures.  Now all I need to do is write them all out so daughter can type them up .             After daughter picked the girls up hubbie and I headed out to get chores done. As I closed up the row covers tonight I brought in this large head of broccoli to make salad from tomorrow. It is so nice to have fresh produce from our garden still at the end of January !!

I had put a couple acorn squash in the oven for tonight's supper before we went out for chores and they made a delicious light supper.   I decided to get the final copy of the market end of the year financial report done tonight and then walked on the treadmill that we fixed yesterday before I went to bed.           Thankful for the blessings of this day.

WORKDAY MONDAY

A different Monday morning as Martin Luther King holiday brings a school holiday. Daughter has to work virtually on the optional workday but son-in-love is off work today so he is watching the kids while she works and d-in-love is taking the day off with g-son and RL.  So hubbie and I had a leisurely breakfast after getting the morning chores done on a nice sunny but cold morning. There was a light dusting of snow flakes all over the ground this morning but they didn't last long.

We decided today would be a good time to tackle at least part of the basement cleanout we have been planning. It is nice enough to put things outside while we cleanout and organize.  We got the old TV that daughter had out of it's place and had to get son-in-love to run over and help hubbie lift it into the truck. It works but is a large heavy model that no one uses anymore.  We brought a large shelf down from the barn to go in the place of TV and were able to load all our extra egg cartons and some other things on it with still space for other things. We worked on one side of the basement all day and were successful in getting it organized and all the unwanted items out.  We finished with a few minutes to rest our achy backs and legs before chore time.  We cooked some frozen pork chops in the instant pot and had baked sweet potatoes to go with them for a good lunch / supper  combo meal.    We got chores done and then got out the heating pads and relaxed for the rest of the evening.  Feeling very accomplished for the work of the day.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and the health and strength to get things done.                                     God Bless and Good Night

BLESSED SUNDAY

Up on another cold morning in the low 20's with pretty thick ice to break. After chores I had a quick breakfast and then we started getting lunch ready for today.  We had cooked one of the roosters in the crockpot overnight and hubbie pulled it off the bones while I cooked rice . we put it all back in the crock pot together and hubbie cooked green beans and corn and biscuits while I peeled oranges, tangerines, apples and bananas to go with coconut flakes and canned crushed pineapple to make a nice fruit salad.         Daughter called and said she had really bad kidney pain last night and had passed out and busted her mouth and nose on the bathroom floor and scared son-in-love to death as he thought she wasn't breathing. Thankfully she is okay this morning but feeling very sore.                                               #1 son's family, Aa's family and #2 son and Tif were our guest at lunch. Everyone had a very nice visit and at least we got some good news today that I will talk more about in a later post.  Everyone stayed for the afternoon today and just enjoyed each other's company.   BB got a late birthday gift from #2 son and Tif and was very happy with it.

After they all left it was chores time for hubbie and I. Another cold windy evening with blowing snow expected overnight but no accumulation. Schools are out tomorrow so we will have another work day around here.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

CAR ACCIDENT SATURDAY NIGHT

Had a nice easy slow morning with the cold temps it was a good morning to snuggle under the warm covers for a few extra minutes and the animals didn't seem to mind have more time in their warm overnight houses either.  After chores I had a leisurely breakfast and then rode with daughter to a truck load shopping store to sit with the girls in the van while she shopped for deals.  I got some leg circulation leggings to help with my tires legs at nights and hopefully make my knee feel better. We stopped and picked up lunch at Chick-f-la on the way home. When she dropped me off IR begged to stay here a while and play so we had a little love bug this afternoon.  IR loves to be the only one here with both of us giving her all the attention and you can't wipe the smile from her face the entire time she is here.  We drew pictures , watched cartoons and put puzzles together and just had a nice relaxing afternoon with her.  After daughter picked her up hubbie and I went out to get chores done.                        I love this picture tonight that shows the sunset and moon rise in the same frame.

We came inside and stoked the wood stove fire and relaxed for the evening. I used my new leg circulation leggings and they felt great.

Just as I was taking these off my legs hubbie's phone rang. It was #1 son needing him to go with him just out the road where Aa's family had just been involved in a car accident.  D-in-love was gone to pick up their supper so I headed down to stay with RL and g-son .  Turns out Aa's family was thankfully all okay after drunk driver had rounded a curve and hit them. Thankfully Aa was able to move over off the road so that it wasn't a direct head on crash but the small truck slammed into the side of their suburban . Thankful for large vehicles and air bags that kept any of them from getting a scratch.   After they got all the details worked out with the firemen and highway patrol and were checked out by the EMT's they all came to #1 son's house. Poor EL was badly shaken up and snuggled in my lap under a blanket until she stopped shaking but BB didn't seem like he was bothered at all.  We stayed with them until EL got up and started moving around playing then hubbie and I came home to unwind.

Thankful tonight for the blessings of this day but also very very thankful that no one was injured in the accident tonight.                                                                                                                                             God Bless and Good Night

HAPPY #6 TO BB

T.G.I.F.   Up to get chores done . There was a very thin coat of ice on the waterers this morning so that was good. We were expecting some rain this morning but it didn't happen so with the temperatures right around and below freezing it was a good thing.  After chores I came inside and had breakfast with all three girls. I had oatmeal and blueberries and the girls all ate waffles.  We played the morning away and then went out to pick up lunch. CA went to sleep as soon as we got in the Honda and slept while the rest of us had our lunch. While she slept RL and IR got out their new sticker / activity books and had fun with them.

These girls are so sweet and I love them so much !!!

After their moms picked them up hubbie and I got chores done and then headed over to Aa's house for BB's 6th birthday party. How in the world is this boy 6 years old, time please slow down !!!!

We had pizza for supper then cake and ice cream !!! This picture catches the personality of this little boy so well as he entertains the girls !!
The kids all had fun singing to him and celebrating with him tonight.

We all had a nice visit and the kids had ball playing. Hubbie and I came home and relaxed for the rest of the evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for BB who got a year older today .
God Bless and Good Night
