CHRISTMAS LAUNDRY DAY

Up to greet all three grand girls this morning. It was 19 degrees and a heavy snow like frost covered everything and made walking slippery at best.   I got chores done and took the frozen covers off the vegetable beds before coming in for breakfast with the girls.  We took our time today and had a nice leisurely breakfast.  Around 11:00 we loaded up in the Honda and loaded the Christmas furniture covers, bed spread and throw rugs up and put them in the big machines at the laundry. While they washed we picked up lunch and then gathered all the wet laundry and headed home. CA was napping so hubbie took RL and IR inside to have lunch while I hung out all the laundry on the clothesline and some hanging frames.  This surely closes the chapter on Christmas 2020 as these dry and are put away all signs of it are put away for 11 months.

CA woke up and we went inside to have our lunch.   This is the nicest day we are going to have in the extended forecast so this was a must do for today.  It is in the lower 50's today with clear sky sunshine.   After lunch I felt a migraine coming on so hubbie took the girls for a while and I rested until I felt better.  Thankfully even the vision fissures never materialized and a short nap was it took to make me feel better.
Daughter and d-in-love came in to pick up the girls and finally with the promise to ride with her head through the sunroof IR agreed to ride down the driveway to her house with d-in-love as long as her mom followed closely behind. At least that's a little break through.

Hubbie helped me gather all the laundry off the lines before we went out to get chores done.  He went over to daughters to pick up her trash and recyclables as we changed our errand day back to Thursday since RL isn't really interested in riding along anymore.
We came inside and had egg salad for supper and then I did weekly paperwork and paid bills before relaxing for the evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and saying prayers for the family of a worker that was killed today on the other side of town when a retaining wall collapsed on him. His wife was a teacher at the elementary school that d-in-love works at.
God Bless and Good Night
