MORE BASEMENT CLEAN OUT

Up to a nice warm morning.  I got chores done and then tackled more basement cleanout. It is warm enough to have the basement doors open so that the dust won't get too bad as I clean out things that have been here for a long time. Hubbie brought his truck down and we loaded up some of the baby things and took them down to the shed where all the other baby things are stored and unloaded. Then we came back to the basement and loaded the truck up again with trash and "Goodwill" items.  It is nice to be able to see everything that is down in the basement now at least in the front part that used to be daughter's apartment. Now I only like about one fourth of the total basement space to clean out over where the big freezer is and all my canned goods are. Hopefully I can get that done in the coming days and be done with the basement so I can move upstairs for some cleanout. This is usually my month of March cleaning but this January has been so long and boring I am glad to get a head start on the annual cleaning.  Since the government has delayed tax filing this year until the second week of February that will give me more time.                     IR and CA came to stay with us while daughter and son-in-love delivered some baby shower cakes and cupcakes daughter had made. Son-in-love had to drive so daughter could hold one of the cakes on the way there to be sure the layers didn't slide. RL came up to play with them also while her mom made a trip to the dump.  We played outside with the girls in the nice sunshine.                                                                     After all the girls were picked up we got chores done and then rested for the evening, hoping for a much calmer Saturday night this week than we had last week.                                                                                   Thankful for the blessings of this day.

God Bless and Good Night
