SENDING PRAYERS

The rain is gone and the sun is back ,yea!! I know my little chicks were glad to get the cover off their cage today.
This morning was smoother than yesterday and I got 12 caramel cakes iced along with 4 chocolates before lunch.
Then it was housecleaning Wednesday for a change.
Whew ! thankfully this has been a very boring day,the phone has only rang a couple times and no dilemmas so far and I only have 10 minutes before midnight.
After supper I did weekly paperwork and then iced more cakes.
I have this achy sadness tonight and I don't even know this young man.
He is a 19 year old from Mills River, which is just down the road from where I live. He just married his high school sweetheart a few months ago.And now he is dead.
He was 1 of 8 young soldiers killed this past weekend in Afghanistan. This is so sad to me and I have a hard time justifying these deaths in this war or what ever it is over there. It seems to me that we are fighting an invisible, never ending enemy over there. I don't know what the answer is but I know it sure is taking a huge tole on many families. There's just got to be a better way !!!!
God bless this boy's family, my heart goes out to them, there son and husband has made the ultimate sacrifice and I pray that God will give them comfort.
His name is Christian Warriner, please send up a prayer for his family and for the men and women that are still over there in harms way every moment of everyday.

At times like these we have to be reminded that God is ultimately in control and He is working things out in His way in His good time.
Good Night and God Bless.

Oh how sad about that young man who died. However, he was probably doing what all soldiers do--fighting for our freedom. We cannot allow the terrorists in those countries to take over the world --and they will if we don't do something... BUT--that being said, war is horrible --and I just wish we could ALL just GET ALONG.

Sending up prayers for that family.
Hugs,
Betsy
