FREEZING WEATHER ON THE HORIZON !!!

A cool morning greeted me as I did chores. G-son got here at about 9:00 and I got laundry started while he went right to work on some Lincoln Log construction.
I spent the morning answering his calls to "come look Neena" between 4 loads of laundry and house cleaning. I hung the towels out on the line in the nice breezy day and they dried in about 2 hours.
After lunch I gathered all the Easter decorations and replaced them with more spring color.
The wind is blowing  and now the clouds have covered the warm sunshine as the cold front gets closer to our area. All the farmers are holding their breath tonight and for the next few nights with freezing temperatures predicted. We are hoping this wind keeps up and fends off the frosty cold for tonight but Thursday is the main problem with a 28 degree temperature predicted.

The air definitely had a different feel to it today.
D-in-love came after g-son about 3:00 and after he left I finished cleaning and took some time to catch up on some magazine reading out in the sunroom. I have followed this ladies blog since before her accident and have read about her struggles with her burns. I wanted to read this story to see  the details I might have missed on her blog while others were writing it for her.
In a plane crash in 2008 she and her husband were badly burned ,he over 20% of his body and her over 80%. She was not expected to live but  through her Mormon faith and the love of a large closely knit family she has defied death and is expecting their 5th child in this story. Actually the baby is here now. She has also written a book called Heaven is Here. This is an amazing story of strength and faith if you get a chance to read it. I had to fight back tears while I read the abreviated story in the Parade.
With the temperature plunging quickly tonight my t-shirt feels really cool this evening. The clouds are still hanging around tonight and the wind is blowing about 20mph so hopefully tonight won't get to freezing.
After a salad supper and with chores finished I baked 2 coconut, 3 chocolate and 2 pound cakes tonight.
God is good all the time and some days I am totally blown away with that goodness.
Good Night and God Bless.
