MARKET DAY PLAYMATES

Another crazy Thursday morning getting both girls settled and getting things ready for market plus the regular chores done.
I made it to RL's pre-school on time today and as I walked out I noticed this on the wall that RL had made. This school is so good for her and they teach these kids so much.
IR and I met hubbie at the Curb Market around 9:00 today.  She hadn't slept all the way there today so she was ready for her breakfast and a nap after we got things carried in and set up.Her other g-ma is taking care of her other sick g-kids today who have the flu so IR is an all day marketer today.
I strolled her around market until she fell asleep to get a good morning nap.
AD came into work on her virtual school class for the day while Re ran errands.
After her lessons she played with IR and sang Old McDonald's Farm to her that was so sweet, wish I would have recorded it !!!

After Re picked up AD hubbie left to go to the recycle center and picked up our lunch on the way back. I fed IR while he was gone and she conked out after her active morning playing with AD.

I had a decent day making almost $60 which was a surprise after the way the day started off but a couple costumers can make a big difference and that's what happened today.
We left a few minutes early and we swapped cars so hubbie could bring a still sleeping IR home and I  used his truck to run my banking and PO errands and then I stopped at Ingles to pick up some groceries and baking supplies for tomorrow.
I made it home at 3:00 and we rested until daughter came in to pick up IR. After they left we did chores. While I was feeding chickens Rocky (Tif's dog) was going a little crazy trying to get under a tarp that was covering an old wood pile right next to my chicken lots. Hubbie came over and helped him get under the tarp and under there he found the biggest Opossum either of us had ever seen.
Of course the Opossum played dead and thankfully didn't try to fight Rocky but this technique worked for him because Rocky didn't know what to do with a limp bodied Opossum. Hubbie went to get his gun and make sure this big egg eating, chicken killing critter didn't get away.
Thanks Rocky  !!  Job well done !!
I put the game camera up in the spot where we can see if there is more of these critters living around here. I don't care for huge predictors living right next to my chicken houses.
Back inside hubbie and I had a restful evening. Hubbie is getting his cough back and doesn't feel well so he went to bed very early. Hopefully a good night's sleep will help him get over whatever he has.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying that hubbie 's sickness is short lived and no one catches it.
God Bless and Good Night.
