LAST DAY OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

Woke to an early phone call form daughter wanting us to go with her to a couple estate sales that were in our area. She is still looking for some bedside tables for her bedroom.
G-son and RL had arrived at regular time this morning and hubbie took g-son to school for his last 1/2 day of 6th grade.
After chores and breakfast hubbie , RL and I headed over to daughter's to go with her to the sales. IR wanted to ride with us since RL was along today so daughter and CA followed in her van.
The sales were pretty good and we all found things we couldn't live without.
Daughter and CA went home to meet a friend who was bringing her lunch and the rest of us went to pick up g-son and then go get lunch.
Everywhere was so crowded we just got take out and brought it home to eat.
After all the kids ate I started baking while hubbie entertained the girls and g-son had his phone with games so he was happy. All the girls need is the "dance party" show on TV and they are happy.

I baked 12 caramel, 2 chocolate, 3 pound , 1 blackberry wine and a pan of brownies. I was still at it when d-in-love came after g-son and RL to go to the Elk's pool with a friend of theirs. It was a great way to celebrate the end of the school year.

CA had her weekly cardiologist appointment this afternoon and son-in-love got off work and went with daughter .  This doctor doubled CA's Lasix and her milk addition to get more aggressive with the treatments to see if that would get some weight on her.
Son-in-love was coming to pick up IR and I went down to the storage shed to get out a couple things for CA when she is here. As I waited for son-in-love to come by so he could haul the things to the house I noticed these Elderberry bush blooms growing tall enough to be over the roof of the small barn.
These Queen Anne's Lace blooms are so large on this plant and so pretty.
After IR left hubbie and I got chores done and spent the rest of the evening icing cakes and getting things ready for market.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying that this medicine change helps CA on the road to recovery.
God Bless and Good Night
