RAINY MONDAY

Getting another week started with the arrival of g-son and RL early this morning. Hubbie took g-son to school and RL and I watched cartoons until he got back.
I got chores done and then daughter brought IR and CA over so she could go into school and give out some awards to some of her students.
CA threw up her morning milk so daughter brought me a bottle of fresh breast milk and I got CA to drink about 1/2 of it before she got back.
RL is very taken with CA and sat and just rubbed her hair the entire time daughter was gone.

When daughter got back hubbie and I took RL and IR with us to Fletcher to pick up chicken feed so they might take a nap. RL went to sleep on the way there but IR seemed to not need a nap but rested quietly the entire trip.
We got back and fixed lunch for the girls who were joined by Zaelee , one of son-in-love's nieces.
Both IR and RL loved having another new face to play with them.

After lunch daughter and I took IR and CA with us to daughter's post partum doctor appointment.
IR was very attentive of her little sister telling all the nurses that was her little sister.

Everything checked out fine and we left there in record time but a really bad thunder and pouring rain storm slowed our trip home significantly as traffic slowed to a crawl with rain falling so hard you couldn't see.
Thankfully we made it home and found RL and Zaelee with Pawpaw outside having ices under the covered patio where the rain was just starting to fall.
D-in-love and g-son came in and we all waited out the heavy rain storm before everyone went home.
Hubbie and I watched the early news then got chores done without rain gear for the first day in several.
Hubbie did some work in the garden giving our green beans some extra height for runners to climb on.
There was another 2.7 inches of rain in the gauge from the overnight rain and this afternoon storm.
Thankfully our area had no flooding , at least not yet !!
I got all 3 loads of our weekly laundry done this evening and got all last weeks laundry put away.
I am tired tonight and ready for an early bedtime.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and continue prayers for CA as she is battling jaundice again as well as her other problems.
