ONE WEEK OLD CA

Woke today to a more normal morning. With RL and g-son only here this morning as son-in-love is taking today off work and keeping IR at home.
Hubbie took g-son to school and RL and I watched cartoons while he was gone.  Son-in-love is taking today off to stay with daughter and the girls one more day.
When hubbie got home I got my chores done and then had my breakfast.  I spent the morning changing out bed covers and getting them washed. I washed out mattress cover and hung it out on the clothes line as it has some cooling things in it and I didn't want to put it in the dryer.
It shouldn't take it long to dry on this dry breezy day. It is still cool outside in the upper 70's today.
Daughter called to get me to go to the doctor with her to take CA into see the pediatrician so we left hubbie with RL for a little while.
CA like any baby wasn't happy with her exam.

The doctor wasn't happy with her rapid breathing but could offer no reason for it and looked back and said she did it everyday she was in the hospital. We also learned she has 2 holes in her little heart. One that is in the top part that no one said anything about at he hospital but shouldn't cause a problem. And she had lost over an ounce since she left the hospital , now down to 6 lbs  6 oz. Her birth weight was 6 lbs  12oz.
We left making another appointment for next week .
We came straight home and RL had to say hello to little CA before she went home.

I played outside with RL while hubbie worked in the garden pulling weeds a while until d-in-love picked her up.
We rested  for the evening after we got chores done.
CA got her first bath tonight since her navel cord has already come off.
What a difference a couple years make in size !!!
One week down for CA but it hasn't been an easy one for this precious little angel for sure but she has come through like a trooper.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for baby CA that God would have it in His will to heal her tiny body.
God Bless and Good Night
