The call didn't come until market time so we all went to market. I got set up and took care of CA while daughter took care of our table and hubbie took care of IR.
Sales were good today and we were very thankful for that.
The call came that IR couldn't get an appointment until Monday morning to have her cast . They apparently thought the hospital or doctors yesterday put something on her leg to stabilize it but they didn't so IR has to go to another place called My Mission which has a regular orthopedic department to get something temporary on her leg and her appointment wasn't until 4:00 today to have that done.
Daughter took the girls home and hubbie made his dump run and brought our lunch back to market.
He left market and headed to daughter's to go with her to help with CA while IR gets a temporary boot. IR was all smiles and thumbs up before going back to see the doctor but wasn't as happy once she got home with the big boot on her foot.
As I left market and ran my errands at the bank, the PO, Aldi and Ingles the rain started to fall pretty heavily at times. And the clouds were really dark hanging right over town.
At least we aren't getting walloped with the amount of rain the gulf coast is today as the second named storm of the season, Barry is drenching the area with massive amounts of rain already and he is expected to get stronger before he comes inland.
We got 3/4 inches of rain from the passing storms this afternoon and some wind but nothing damaging.
I got everything unloaded myself and put away before hubbie got here from the doctor's visit.
We waited out another short light rain shower before we got chores done.
I moved the young guineas out into the bigger lot to see how they get along with the older guineas. I'll leave the young ones up for awhile and turn the older ones out so they won't be together all the time.
That empties the last brooder box this season.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
