Believe it or not the thermometer said 59 degrees this morning as I did chores.
I iced all my cakes this morning and changed out my market bag as the old one's zipper has been broken for a while.
After lunch I went to work at church for the afternoon. I was the only one around today and that is how I like it. I can get so much more done when I'm all by myself.
I came home and noticed the temperature was 71 degrees, 1 degree off the record of 72 set in 1897 .
This little squirrel looks like he is enjoying the warm sunshine.
I refilled all the bird feeders this afternoon as the birds seem to be very active in this nice weather. I was sitting in the sunroom with the door open this evening when a bird actually tried to fly through the screen door.
After a snack supper Hubbie and I went back to finish work at church.
When we got home it was weird to hear the peeping of the peeper frogs on the pond that is usually a sign of spring but I have a feeling they better not get far from their little holes in the mud because I don't think spring is here yet!
It is 55 degrees at 11:45 !
We do need some rain the fire in Judes Gap that I've been talking about in previous blogs is now burning over 1200 acres.
I got a couple little jobs done tonight I've been putting off, I put new elastic in the waist of a pair of pants for a friend at market and boxed up an order of Avon to be shipped to Florida to a customer down there.
I'm still working on cataloging my 1960's decade pictures in an album. Still no February pics. I looked up the weather for February 1961 and that year we had a very mild February much like this year has been so far.
Thanking God for a glorious day.
Good Night and God Bless.
