ANOTHER FROSTY BLACKBERRY WINTER MORNING

And it's a good thing we didn't listen to the weather wizards and not cover our plants as it was colder here this morning than it was yesterday,35 at 5:30 today. After chores I collected all the buckets so they won't get rained in and hopefully put them away for the season.
Hopefully blackberry winter is on her way out.Although the blooms are pretty and the berries they bring will be delicious.

I worked at church this morning and after lunch I put all the outside plants back outside.
After I changed the aquarium water the other day my fish died,go figure .Ode to old Blue ,I've had him since last April.
He is now fertilizer in one of the outside pots.

Hubbie took the raccoon away early this morning without any mishaps,he is going to reset the trap tonight to make sure there isn't a room mate in the barn.

I've been keeping a close eye on the hatching chicks today but as of noon there was still only the one little black one.

The clouds have been off and on all day and they said we would get rain but now they say it will pass us by.

G-son came this afternoon to stay with me while his mom went to photograph a wedding of one of daughter's friends and his dad was at the dentist with a broken tooth.

Daughter is a bridesmaid in her friends wedding today.
This is a picture daughter sent me of the bride who was one of her best friends in highschool and they were room mates at college. It was a beautiful day for an outside wedding, love the idea of arriving in a carriage.

Bride and bridesmaids, daughter is on far left.

Entire wedding party.

Rode in with her dad and out with her new husband, off to a great start.

Brides two best friends from high school, daughter on left and Megan on right.

I am so proud of this young lady, her mother committed suicide about 3 years ago and she has pretty much been on her own since then. She planned her wedding with the help of her two best friends and it turned out wonderful. She has worked very hard putting herself through nursing school and has a very good job. Her new husband is a police officer. I wish them a long wonderful joyful life together.

Memories with friends !!!!!

#1 son came in this afternoon after having a tooth pulled. He and g-son hung around and had supper here before heading home.
Hubbie and I finished work at church tonight and I iced 6 more caramel and 3 coconut cakes.
When I shut the chickens up tonight the little red hen had added 1 more little black chick to her brood.

I'm getting in bed early tonight for an early market day tomorrow.

Grateful to God tonight for His love and care as I stumble through life.
Good Night and God Bless.

It's been awhile since I visited your blog, but really enjoyed it today. Sorry about your fish :) I have never had luck with those little buggers! Cute chicks too. And my husband keeps an eye out for those blackberry blossoms everywhere we go! Hope you have a great Mother's Day.
