DAY 2 AT HOLDEN BEACH

The sound of the ocean waves breaking on the beach is a wonderful sound to wake up to. The sun was shining brightly this morning without a cloud in the sky. This little fellow watched me as I sat on our porch swing .

I watched the huge shrimp boats glide by with dropped nets hoping for a bounty of shrimp for the days work.

There were 4 of them one right behind the other but with a good distance between them.I have a fishing rod with this same name, I sure hope they have more luck with their Predator than I do !!!!

After trying the fishing luck this morning and coming up empty again and daughter getting too much sun and g-son sticking a splinter in his foot we decided this would be a good day for our shopping trip down to the Tanger Outlets we always go to.G-son's foot wasn't too sore to enjoy himself, here he is trying to decide what to ride first as dad gets plenty of change for the ride meters.

We shopped till we dropped ,there was some really good deals. I did a lot of Christmas shopping for the kids I buy for as there is an excellent Disney outlet store in here that I can find different things than you can't buy in Walmart .

We stopped at Sub-Way on the way home and brought home subs for our supper tonight.
The weather is warmer tonight than last night but still a little nippy. The news from home isn't good as sis-in-law said there was frost this morning and there is a frost warning again tonight.

Daughter,g-son and I took a flashlight and walked on the beach tonight looking for "pretty shells" as g-son said and sand dollars.
All the guys are gone fishing down on the ICW in hopes of better luck tonight.
I was glad to get back inside and get warm.
When the guys got back they had caught a few fish and a skate which almost got one of their poles but nothing to brag about.

Don't have a sunset picture for tonight as we weren't home at sunset so here is another from last night.

Thanking God for the blessings of safe travel again today and the beautiful wonders of nature He created for our pleasure.
Good Night and God Bless.
