When d-in-love brought g-son this morning she told me to check the paper someone had called and said g-son's pic was on the front page.
We stopped at the mail box and got the paper so he could look on the way to school and there he was with some classmates. (he is in the navy blue shirt)
He wanted to know why his name wasn't in there with the man's name but I explained they can't put children's names in public papers because it isn't safe to do so.
He held the paper in his lap and read the story to me on the way to school. He was a very proud first grader today !!
I hurried through chores and made it to market on time today. Rebekah was already there with a fussy baby on each hip. She is keeping our associate Pastor's little boy who is 3 months younger than Evy while his mom and dad attended the funeral on a grandmother. He was teething and Evy was mad because she was having to share her mom.
I took Evy and she helped me get my things from the van and get set up. She loves riding on my cart.
I played with little Clayton for a while so she could have mom all to her self. Both babies got picked up, Clayton by his mom and Evy by her Granna for a couple hours.
Market was very slow today as expected for the week after a holiday weekend. I am thankful for what I did sell.
After market I ran errands and picked up groceries and baking supplies on the way home. I made it home at 4:30.
I had the van almost unloaded by the time hubbie got here from work. He left to go let daughter's dog out and to replant a couple of her trees that blew over. She had some late meetings at school tonight.
As I was finishing up the news Rebekah and Evy came to walk and swing. Evy loves to swing.
I did evening chores and then caught up some magazine reading while waiting on darkness.
Today is a special day for my d-in-love as she turns 32 years old today. She has been a wonderful addition to our family.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY D-IN-LOVE !!!
Grateful for a wonderful blessed day.
Good Night and God Bless.
