PALM SUNDAY 2014

Today is the beginning of Holy Week,it is the day that Jesus entered Jerusalem. There was such excitement and love for him on this day. Folks spread palm fronds and took of their cloaks and placed then in the dirt so there would be no dust from the footsteps of the donkey Jesus rode on.  This joyous entrance would soon change.
Church was good the sermon was from the John 11  1-44.
Lunch was #1 son,d-in-love,g-son, Rebekah and Evy.   #2 son is golfing, daughter is coaching a traveling volleyball tournament and Aaron is working.
Evy is feeling better today, still not sure what is going on with her.
After lunch I helped d-in-love go over their taxes.  She and g-son then left to go to the church Easter egg hunt.
It has been a nice warm 72 degree day but the wind is blowing so hard it isn't too comfortable to be outside.
This evening the wind died down so we all got outside to enjoy the nice weather before the rain moves in.
Ceyenne got a good brushing from daughter.
G-son loves that horse also and she acts like she  enjoys him.

He also liked playing ball with daughter's dog Tipper who was also visiting this evening.
He also loves that he is getting almost as big as his mom but still likes for her to carry him.
But then he is back to being all boy as he slides down Pawpaw's pile of gravel.
We all have this horse spoiled !!!
I doctored my pullets legs for leg mites as they went inside their house tonight. I'm not sure if they have them or not but want to get a jump on them if they do. Seems each spring brings a new hatch of these little pest.
Hubbie and I came inside and relaxed for the evening after a nice peaceful Sunday spent with family and friends.
Good Night and God Bless.

I have always enjoyed Palm Sunday - a very joyous day. Your horse Ceyenne sure is a beauty. G-son is getting so big. We had some nice weather for a few days now it is back to rain/snow and colder temps. Have a blessed Holy Week.

Awesome Palm Sunday here too, Marilyn. I love seeing the little children carry the Palm Branches down the isle while the congregation sings. I can just see Jesus entering on a donkey.

Holy Week is one of my favorite weeks of the year ---even though we go through the sadness of Jesus' death.. BUT--we know that EASTER is coming. Alleluia.

We had some high winds yesterday --and today it's raining. We have a Freeze Watch out for us tonight/tomorrow... GADS!

Hugs,
Betsy
