GOOD CHECK-UP

With g-son safely at school this morning my hectic day began.  I hurried through chores and breakfast to get a load of laundry started. I had time to take a shortened walk for my exercise of the day before getting more laundry done.  At 10:15 I left for a doctor's appointment in Asheville.
Thankfully I was called back just as I started to sit down and the news was all good. I have lost more than 2% of the body fat I had a little over a month ago along with another couple pounds. My blood pressure was 124/70 and we are waiting a little longer to recheck my white cell count.  My body fat started out at 28.7% and today it was 26.3%.  When I get to 25% my insurance will stop paying for the doctor visits but I shouldn't need them anymore because I should be at my goal weight by then also.
I am very thankful I was offered this program because I have learned so much about the foods that are good for me and the way they should be prepared.
I stopped by Walmart on my way home to pick up some groceries and baking supplies and made it home around 1:00 for a late lunch.
I did more laundry and housework before I picked up g-son.   After I got him settled in I took my 30 minutes of promised sewing time. I made the other half of this towel into an apron like the one I made last week.
#1 son came after g-son and they took their old boat home with them for a buyer to pick up this evening.
Remember the "extreme boat make over" !!
After #1 son worked and worked to get this old boat in top pic looking good in the bottom pic they only found time to go to the lake once in the year that he has had it so he sold it tonight at a disappointment to g-son.

I baked cakes tonight to get a head start on this Old Timey Day weekend.  I am sitting here typing this at 11:30 waiting for the last ones to come out of the ovens.
Grateful for the strength God gives me each day.
Good Night and God Bless.
