GOOD MARKET AND AFTERNOON STORMS

Early alarm sounded what seemed like way to early this morning.  I did sleep good as I was  really tired when I got to bed last night.
I got chores done while hubbie loaded the Honda. It has rained at some point overnight but not much.
Just enough to wet the grass but not enough to wet the ground under the thicker trees.
The clouds are hanging around so we may get some this morning.
We had a quick breakfast and then headed to market to meet daughter and IR who were already there managing.
Today was a slower sales day than the previous couple of Saturdays but we still had a good day with all the orders we had.
IR found a friend about her age and they sweetly reached out and held hands.

Son-in-love switched his lease car today from the Honda Accord he has had to a CRV. I really like this pearl white color. He needed something bigger and easier to get IR in and out of.
We left market and came straight home. The dark storm clouds are really gathering this afternoon.
Hubbie was going to mow the lawn but couldn't get out with all the thunder as these storms passed by. Unfortunately for our friends that have the blackberry farm they got 15 minutes of large hail stones during the storm that passed to the north of us that ended their blackberry season.

They also have apples and live in the heart of apple country so my heart goes out to all the apple farms that were hit by this hail.
I worked on market paperwork for a while until it had stopped the thunder before I got out to get the chores done.
We picked green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and dug potatoes for tomorrow's lunch.
Hubbie and I made a trip to Ingles to get some meat for lunch tomorrow. We usually have what is on sale but this week there were no sales so we opted for a ham and mac and cheese casserole lunch to go with all the vegetables.
The clouds were boiling again when we came out of the store.
We came home to more thunder and lightening that made shutting up the chickens quicker tonight.
I did more paperwork and then blogged before heading to bed.
The rain finally reached us about 11:00 with thunder and lightening pretty close.
At least the air has cooled into the upper 60's so hopefully the storms won't be so strong.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night.
