After we all had breakfast we decided to hit the park this morning and hope that the rain holds off.
We stopped by McDonalds on the way to pic up lunch for later.
Both kids had a ball playing today at the Park at Flat Rock.
We took a walk after lunch and looked in the lake for "Nemo" the large gold fish but he was no where to be seen today.
However this little animal lover made friends with this little squirrel and he didn't seem afraid of RL at all.
After over 2 hours at the park RL fell fast asleep as soon as we got in the Honda to head home.
The sky was really dark and it rained on the way home but we didn't get any here at our house.
Hubbie carried RL in and put her on the couch to continue her nap.
Hubbie went outside to get on the lawn mower and I went downstairs to get laundry started.
RL only slept about an hour and then she was up and hungry. A few drops of rain and some thunder brought hubbie inside off the lawn mower so he played with her while I continued my laundry.
I did our normal 3 loads and got everything put away.
RL got one of my hats and posed for this cute picture as she pushed her "baby" around in her stroller.
The sun came back out without any rain here again and hubbie went back to his lawn mowing while RL and I played outside. RL swing for a long time and just acted like she was in deep thought about something.
After d-in-love picked both kids up hubbie and I drove over to daughter's property to see how much work #1 son got done today as he started clearing for her house.
He only worked about 3 hours and we were amazed at how much he got done.
This is a big machine and makes the work quick.
Daughter had to go to Greensboro today for a teaching workshop and one of son-in-love's brother's wives that lives near there took the day off work and kept IR while daughter was at the workshop.
IR got reacquainted with one of her cousins.
They got home earlier this evening thankful for safe travel through the rain storms on the way home.
We got chores done and then had a nice quiet evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.

Isn't it weird how it can be pouring rain in one place but not at your house. This happens to my son all the time. We can actually watch it raining all around his house but we don't even get a drop. Blessings
