BEAUTIFUL MAUNDY THURSDAY

Up to get another day started. We got chores done and I watered all the raised beds. Daughter brought the girls over here while son-in-love had an interview on-line and didn't want any background noises.
I took IR and went to deliver some eggs and pick up a curbside order from Petco of flea meds and wormer for the dogs and cat.
As we passed by RL's house she ran out and wanted to know if she could ride to the dump with us. Hubble said it is definitely boring times when a ride to the dump sounds good to a 4 year old. Of course IR also wanted to go along.
We traded my Honda for hubbie's truck and headed over to daughters to load up her trash and recyclables.
The girls and I sat in the truck while hubbie got everything unloaded in its proper places at the dump then we decided to make a trip up to Blantyre plant nursery to see if they had anymore variety of vegetable plants that we needed.
Hubbie stayed outside with the girls while I put on my mask and checked out the plants. They had all but a couple of the vegetables I was looking for so that was a successful trip.
We headed home to have lunch with daughter, CA and d-in-love and g-son who met us at our house.
After we ate the kids wanted to play outside together for awhile.

D-in-love took RL and g-son home so g-son could finish his school work.  IR came in the house and sacked out sound asleep in hubbie's recliner so daughter and hubbie took CA and hooked up #1 son's dump trailer and went over to the City's recycling center to get a load of free mulch for daughter.
When IR woke up RL called and said she wanted to come back up to play. She wanted to be brave and walk up the driveway by herself which was great until she encountered to first snake we have seen around here .

Thankfully she saw it before she stepped on it.
The girls stopped to watch the cattle grazing .

They also stopped to climb this old Mimosa tree.

And they love to blow these "wishing flowers" as they call them, aka Dandelions.

Then it was off to play in the trailer playhouse until hubbie and daughter got back.

Daughter spent some time when they got back digging up some Rose of Sharon bushes that I needed moved from around some blackberry plants and she wanted some rooted offshoots from my Oakleaf Hydrangea.
The girls helped hubbie and I get the raised beds covered up because it is supposed to get into the mid 30's overnight.

They all left and we finished up and came inside to rest for the evening.
On this Thursday of Holy week is the day of the Lord's Supper and also the day Jesus was betrayed.

Thankful for the beautiful day and the blessings we were given today and continuing to pray for victims of the covid virus and so very thankful that so far our family has been spared from the illness.
God Bless and Good Night and Happy Easter
