We came inside and had breakfast then cleaned off the kitchen table and got set up for an egg dying party.
CA had her 7 months post-op cardiology appointment this morning and she got good and bad news. Her heart no longer has any leaking holes around the surgery site that they saw after the operation but she has a damaged electrode which might cause some concern with stamina later in life. We are praying she doesn't have any problems with it. She was a good happy patient this morning and went through all the test like a little trooper.
The kids all came in to have lunch and I boiled the eggs daughter brought in while they ate.
This is the first time I have had kids here egg dying since g-son was really small so it was fun for me as well as RL and IR.
They were very proud of the finished products.
We even had a science lesson when I let the girls dropped baking soda into the vinegar egg dye.
CA had fun watching the older girls and playing with her plastic eggs.
After they all left to have naps hubbie and I stuffed this tub of Easter eggs so we can hide them tomorrow at a lunchtime cookout.
We are having our egg hunt tomorrow since the forecast for Sunday is for rain and storms.
We relaxed inside for the rest of the day.
We got chores done and recovered all the raised beds with blankets and said a prayer for these rows of onions, peas, kale and turnips that are planted in the garden and would be impossible to cover all of them.
Hubbie and I relaxed for the evening.
On this Good Friday 2020 I am blessed to call Jesus my personal savior and to him I know I owe more than I could ever think about repaying.
Thankful for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior who gave His life so that we could be saved and have everlasting life.
