WALKING TRAIL DAY

Up to get chores done and grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast bar on our way out to get things done on this Thursday morning.
Seems funny that we would have to hurry for any reason in these quarantine days but I have a time to meet an egg buyer at 11;00 on the other side of town so we need to get things done on the way there so we don't have to back track.
We picked up RL on the way to daughter's house to pick up her trash / recyclables and IR who was also riding along this morning.
We went to the dump / recycle center for our first stop.
Then we headed down town to our bank to make a deposit.
From there we went to the meeting place with the egg customer. We were there a few minutes early but she lived close and came right over.
We then drove up to Blantyre for the last time this season to see if they had any of my favorite tomato plants out yet.
Hubbie let the girls play in the back of the truck once again while I went inside. Thankfully they had at least one variety I was looking for and a couple that were new so we will try them.
I also bought some herb plants to get started.
We came back through town and stopped by McDonalds to pick up lunch for the girls and g-son who has been craving fast food.
G-son came up to our house to have lunch with the girls.
Daughter called and ask us to go to the walking trail with her and son-in-love this afternoon so we ate then played outside until time to go do that.
We walked the trail and explored along the way picking flowers and having fun and apparently just enjoying the ride as CA looked so relaxed. It was pretty cool today with low 60's temps and very breezy .

We came home and hubbie and had hot cupsof tea and coffee and watched the early news. We went outside and fertilized the raised beds and covered them once again for a mid 30's only hopefully night.
We are hoping this is the last night we have the covers out since it is getting past the middle of April. I am so tired of shivering and having a fire in the woodstove feels so good but is strange to be this regular in mid April.
Also I am hoping the weather breaks soon because I am running out of room in the sunroom greenhouse !!

We relaxed for the evening after getting inside and getting warm.
The update on the worldwide pandemic of the covid-19 virus is still bleak as the virus continues to spread and the country's economy is steadily going down.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for the victims of the covid virus.
God Bless and Good Night
