BLOCK BLAST SATURDAY

Woke before the alarm this morning to the dogs barking loudly outside. After jumping up and checking out the squirrel that was up a tree in the back yard I realized they only sounded really loud because the bedroom windows were open. I turned the heat pump off yesterday with the predicted temperatures for the next week. I will get to sleep by the peep frogs lullaby and wake to the singing of the birds at the back yard feeders. Love these temps !!!
We got to market a bit early but found customers waiting already. Hubbie helped for a little while until daughter brought her things in and helped. Hubbie went to the estate sale place to put in a bid on that band saw we looked at yesterday. Seems after some research on line last night  he came up with a bid of a little more than 1/2 the price she was asking, the saw would be an okay deal.
Daughter worked on a web page for sis-in-law to start a consignment business between customers.
We had a really good day of sales at market today with cakes and crafts.
Daughter left just after lunch time to try and rest off a headache.
I left market and made a stop at Aldi for baking supplies for next week. Ingles had beef round roasts on sale so I stopped and picked up a couple those on the way home.
Hubbie was up at our church helping with Block Blast since it started at 1:00 today. When I got home the phone was beeping with a message for hubbie, that he had won the bidding on the band saw.  After unloading and having a small snack I joined the fun up at Block Blast.
There was a good crowd of folks on this beautiful day.
G-son was enjoying the ponies when I got there.
He got to ride this time with three of his friends and they took turns showing off to one another.

He had fun with all his friends the entire time we were there. D-in-love had volunteered to oversee some of the kids games so hubbie and I were overseeing g-son and his friends.
This big slide was a hit with all the kids.
There was live entertainment all day and all the singers and musicians were very good.

Rebecca and little Evy were enjoying the day also.
We all had a BBQ plate of the really good Boston Butt some of the men of the church cooked last night.
This is daughter with her b-friend and his little boy.
A great time was had by all at this year's Block Blast activities.
I got home around 6:00 just in time to do the evening chores.
I am a tired lady tonight and very thankful for God's blessings of the day. May all the glory of this day go to God.
Good Night and God Bless.

Wow, what a busy day you had. You should be tired. I love it that the nights are now cool enough to sleep with the windows open. I sleep so much better. Blessings

A big congratulations to your husband on having the winning dollar amount on the band saw.

I love little fairs like this getting all the families together to enjoy watching the kiddos' and having good food.

Wonderful! Glad he got the saw for a good price.

That looks like a party I would enjoy.
