BLESS MY BLOOMERS

G-son was happy this morning with his sock monkey zombie so he was off on a happy note today.
When I got home I did chores and had breakfast before I decided to take a nice walk around the farm to check out the new bloomers.
My Forsythia must have bloomed too much last fall as it is not as bright this year as I have seen it.
This almond bush is blooming.
The pretty little woods Hyacinths along with my purple Hyacinths , favorite daffodils and some Double Daffodils make the back yard a colorful spot.

My Hostas are breaking the ground.
Peach and Pear trees are blooming and I hope they have better luck than the earlier plum trees had.

These Plum blossom are falling from the trees and where there should be a little plum started there is nothing thanks to a couple of low 20's nights week before last.
The Redbud and this ornamental Peach tree are really bright and pretty this year.

Some of my favorite Violets dot the lawn grass as the lawn needs mowing in spots for the first time this season.
This pot of Lavender doesn't loo like it made it through this cold winter but the pot of chives and Thyme is looking good and ready to spice up those meals.

The bridge workers have taken today off and this is their progress for the week.
Until we complete the rabbit fencing around the entire garden we have protected our cabbage and broccoli plants with another little fence.

After my walk I spent the rest of the morning baking 6 caramel, 1 coconut/pineapple, 2 chocolate and 2 pound cakes.
After lunch I got out my Easter decorations and then vacuumed the floors. I feel lazy today so that will be my housework done for today.
Other g-ma brought g-son by to pick up his zombie and she and I had a nice visit.
Rebekah and Evy walked down and brought a sign to announce their upcoming gluten free bakery items and baby crafts on their Curb Market table.
After chores I had supper and then iced my cakes.
I have felt tired all day but I think it is just a change in my schedule that I need to get used to for the rest of the year.
As I sit here yawning I am ready for a hot bath and a deep slumber tonight.
Thanking God for the blessings of this day.
Good Night and God Bless.

Carolina Nana,

What a beautiful walk along your property with all the blossoms, and flowers.

I would love to walk into your home while your making all of these cakes. Your house must smell amazing, as I think about it I'm drooling, lol......

Have a wonderful evening and a beautiful Sunday.
Blessings,
Sandy
