ONE DEGREE OFF 71 YEAR OLD RECORD HIGH FOR TODAY

G-daughter was not a very happy camper this morning as she had several shots yesterday and was feeling the effects this morning. Her mom had given her Tylenol before they left their house so she slept a couple hours to start the day.
I got the chores done and had breakfast then stuffed the 11 ,I thought there was 12 but came up with only 11 today, small eyelet lace pillows I sewed up yesterday.

G-daughter woke up and we headed outside for our daily walk and stroller ride !
The sun is shining brightly and the temps are climbing toward record levels today.
We finished the day with a high of 80 degrees only 1 degree off the 81 degree record for this day set back in 1945.
After these passed 9 days of way above normal temps this coming week end is going to hurt !!

After we had lunch g-daughter went back to sleep and I did some housework then because I am not feeling well at all today and my throat is feeling really sore I took a break with some hot tea out in the sunroom.
After d-in-love picked up g-daughter hubbie and I watched the evening news and then did chores.
I caught this pic of the setting sun reflecting off these Maple trees down on the creek that are putting out their red buds.

This Plum tree's branches are so covered with blooms it looks like a Bradford Pear tree instead of a Plum tree.

I wonder what this week ends temps will do to these blooms ????
I did weekly paperwork and watched Survivor on TV tonight and just rested hoping to feel better tomorrrow.
Thanking God for all the blessings of this day and for walking beside me in all that I do each day.
