PALM SUNDAY AND SNOW BRINGS IN SPRING

It doesn't feel much like the first day of spring this morning as I get my cover-alls and toeboggin on to go out and do the chores before church this morning.
On the drive there I took these pics as I was the only car on the road for almost the entire 2 mile trip today. I wondered aloud what these beautiful blooms will look like after the next couple upper 20's nights.

Church was from Mathew this morning as we celebrated this Palm Sunday with the Lord's supper.
#1 son's family and Aa's family along with daughter made it to lunch of roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, glazed carrots and biscuits today.
After a few minutes of play outside in the cold  for g-son and EL with aunt T everyone headed home to spend a cold misty raining Sunday afternoon of rest.
Hubbie and I watched the March madness basketball games all after noon flipping between the nascar race.
Hopefully my few minutes of snooze won't hinder my nights sleep.
Although I think I feel tireder this evening from laying around all afternoon than I usually do if I'm busy ???
I did chores in the cold 39 degree temps this evening getting a stark reminder that this time of year even though spring is supposedly here can be cold.
This is what some of the higher elevations started spring 2016 out with this evening.
And some of the rest of the country is facing a snowy beginning to spring also.

Doesn't look like the first week of spring is going to be too bad for us here in these mountains.
Thankful for the wonderful gift God gave all mankind as His only Son payed for all our sins so that we may be forgiven and can have the hope of eternal life with our Precious Savior Jesus Christ.

God Bless and Good Night.

We haven't had any snow for a week now. Hoping it is gone for the year. Looking forward to a busy week with Bible Study and all the Holy Week services followed by Easter Sunday. Blessings
