LAST DAY OF THE SCHOOL HONOR ROLL AND GRADUATION CEREMONY

Up with g-daughter at 7am !!  After chores and breakfast she tried to go to sleep but there were too many distractions this morning, like birds singing !!!
We got ready and headed over to g-son's school at 10:30 to watch his last of the year AB honor roll presentation. We are so proud of him for all his hard work this year. He was pretty emotional on his last day of 3rd grade.

G-daughter "literally" enjoyed her brother's program haha as she is held by one of the teachers!!
G-daughter and I made it home at lunch time. After we ate she played and watched TV while I baked cakes. I baked 12 caramel, 4 chocolate and 2 pound cakes.
I took breaks and tried a couple of times to see if g-daughter wanted to get more of a nap than just sleeping in the car on the way home but she wasn't having anything to do with sleep !!!
After d-in-love picked her up they put together her new wagon and she loved it.
Re and the kids came by to cut flowers and pick up the things for the shower tomorrow and hubbie played bubbles with EL and BB while we scoured the outside for flowers and the inside for supplies for the shower. Re remembered several things I had that I had forgotten.
Daughter dropped her baked goods off on her way to school for the graduation ceremony tonight.
This is three of her teaching team mates, daughter is on the far left.
At least they don't have to worry about getting wet tonight as long as they don't pass out from the heat.
Congressman Mark Meadows was the speaker this year for graduation and she said he did a really good job. He shook hands with each of the graduates also as they received their diplomas.
Hubbie and I made a trip to Ingles about 7:10 and as we passed the school I have never seen that many folks at a graduation before. There was still a long line of cars waiting to turn into the school and the ceremony started at 7:00.
Daughter is also one of the teachers who will be staying up all night tonight at project graduation to give these graduates a safe place to spend their first "out of school" night plus a last fun time with all their classmates.
I spent the evening after chores and supper icing cakes. I got a late start so I didn't get into bed until after 1am.
I am writing this Saturday and back dating it.
Thanking God for a day of wonderful blessings and praying for all the graduates everywhere that now enter the next phase of their lives. May they seek the Lord's blessing on all that they do.
God Bless and Good Night.
