MORE GARDENING

It is already hot this morning as I get chores done and get RL to pre-school. She has been so excited both mornings this week as if she is really glad to get this last week in with her friends.
I came home and had breakfast with IR and hubbie. IR wanted to play outside for the morning so that's where we spent the time until it was time to go pick up RL.
We made our last trip of the year to have lunch at Burger King with the girls. It'll be interesting to get a pic the first trip this fall when school starts back.

We didn't go to the park because it is hotter today than yesterday so we knew the park wasn't a good idea.  I needed to go to Tractor Supply for some chick starter and daughter had dropped her van off at a tire place in downtown on her way to her doctor this morning so we went by there to pick it up and drop it off at school.
Her doctor appointment went well this week and her blood pressure was normal. The doctor scheduled an induction for next Tuesday if she doesn't go into labor before then. We are all saying prayers for natural labor before Tuesday.
We made it home with the girls both awake and ready for some ices and outside playtime.
I don't feel very good this afternoon and have a nagging headache so I spent the afternoon on the couch.
After the girls were picked up hubbie went up to the garden and I worked some in the flower bed in the back yard trimming some of the Lemon Balm out and feeding it to the chickens for some antioxidants.
I felt better so I helped hobbies in the garden. He tilled the entire garden and I marked some rows off in the vacant places and planted okra, Indian corn, pumpkins, yellow squash and some zinnias.
The soil is really getting dry quickly in this unseasonally hot weather.
It is a critical time right now for our potatoes that look so wonderful as they are just starting to bloom and they need some water.
We had some passing clouds again this evening but not a drop of rain just some pretty color in the sky.

Had a restful evening to hopefully be ready for another hot busy day tomorrow.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night

Glad you had a nice day. It seems all we have been getting is rain around here. My table plants are getting sick looking from too much moisture and cooler temps. Blessings
