GOOD BYE MAY

Up to greet g-daughter IR as Kristen heads to get Addie ready for school. She was tireder this morning as neither of them slept very much last night.
D-in-love is going into work late today and had taken g-son to school and went to pick up breakfast for all of us in her way home.
IR was very glad to see her cousin RL and they ate their breakfast side by side and started playing very good together. D-in-love went on to work and hubbie and I played with the girls waiting for a call from daughter to let us know what today's plan was.
She called and said she was waiting on the doctor to come to check her out.
The girls both got tired about 11:00 so we put them in the Honda and went to Tractor Supply for chick feed and they both fell asleep on the way home.
We carried them inside and they both took good naps. Hubbie also took a nap while I baked cakes.
I baked 6 caramel, 1 coconut, 4 pound cakes and a pan of brownies.
Hubbie played outside with the girls when they woke up and when I got the last cakes from the ovens I joined them.
The report on CA was good as all her vitals have settled down and and they are trying to get moved into a transition room.
IR and RL had a blast playing this afternoon  and d-in-love captured some good pics trying out her new phone.

Son-in-love came to pick up IR and stay home with her tonight and #1 son is going to the hospital to spend the night with daughter and CA. Thankfully they got moved into one of the transition rooms so she has a crib and daughter has a bed in there.

What a rough beginning for this sweet little girl and she isn't putting up much of a fuss with all the prods and needle sticks.I iced the caramel and coconut cakes after the girls left.
Hubbie and I got chores done early and headed over to the hospital to visit this evening.
CA looks better tonight but is a little yellow with jaundice setting in.
We left after about 2 hours and son and daughter were getting settled down for the night.
I wrapped and got things ready for market when we got home and had another late night but not quite as late as last night.
To wrap up the May decade series this is what was happening in May of 2009, Dusty, sis-in-law Sandy's brother got married that month on a farm in South Carolina and we all went.
This is the 4 generations together for one of the last times at this wedding.
We also made a trip to Sunset Beach and went the the Aquarium and Board Walk at Myrtle Beach.

This is the last day of May and this month has bee a dry month and warmer than normal almost every day so things are drying out quickly and the drought zone is inching closer to each no rain day we have.

And June is going to start out with the continued streak of well above normal days.
Another hospital sunset pic of the muggy evening over Asheville.
Thankful for the memories and blessings through the years.
Praying tonight that g-daughter CA gets better and is on the way to recovery.
God Bless and Good Night.
