TOO HOT FOR PARK PLAY TODAY

Friday, already ??? Seems like I was just writing a Friday post.  Man oh man how time is flying by.
I got chores done and got RL to pre-school. Today was "water day" at school and she was so excited it was funny. She wore her bathing suit under her clothes and was happy even with the light rain that was falling on the way to school.

By the time I got home the rain was beginning to slack off and the sun was trying to make an appearance.   Since it was too wet to play outside IR and I played with her building blocks after we had breakfast until it was time to go pick up RL.
We took the girls to Burger King to have lunch then to check out a new park to see if maybe some of the equipment might be shaded. But at Tuxedo park all the play things were still out in the sun and were a little bigger than we expected for our little girls.

They tried to find a slide that wasn't too hot but couldn't.

All they found they could use was the swings so they did that for a little while and then we left to get home and get naps.

They both fell asleep on the drive home and took good naps after we carried them inside. When they woke up we had ice cream cones and then their moms picked them up.
Daughter went back to her doctor today and thankfully her blood pressure was back down to normal range so the doctor is just watching it closely.
Hubbie did more bush hogging in the pasture this evening and I baked 3 pound cakes and a pan of brownies for market tomorrow.
I did chores and watched as the beautiful sunset disappeared and the large full moon appeared.

"Meow Meow" the cat watches over his territory.

I got things ready for market and then went to bed early to recover from a long week with my knee pain.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and very thankful for the blessing of daughter's lower blood pressure.
God Bless and Good Night
