BUSY FUN FRIDAY

Friyay !!!!!   The kids were tireder this morning and both acted like they were not enthused about getting to school this morning.
Hubbie took g-son and then I got chores done and hubbie rode with me to drop off RL as we had some errands to run this morning since I didn't get to do anything yesterday after my eye exam.
We went to the bank then to Aldi for baking supplies and groceries then we headed to Fletcher Feed for chicken feed. We got home with 30 minutes to unload and get things all put away before we headed over to pick up daughter and IR. Hubbie was going to stay at daughters with CA while daughter and IR went with me to pick up RL and then we were going to Walmart to let her pick out her birthday present. RL is turning 4 years old on Sunday and had definite likes and dislikes so it is safer to let her pick out her gifts.
We got the girls lunch at the McDonalds in Walmart and they ate as we shopped for our groceries and things before we got to the toy department. These girls love each other so much !!
RL found a couple things she had been wanting but we almost missed the thing she wanted most as we finally spotted the Koala family she had seen on TV and she was very happy to find them.

Of course IR also got something and we took something home for CA. We also found a "baby shark" fishing game that they both wanted so they could play together.

We got back just in time to feed a hungry CA and then hubbie and I came home and brought IR and RL here to play for a little while. They both enjoyed playing with the Koala set for along time.

We had popsicles in the covered patio to cool off on this hot day.

D-in-love came in and stayed with the girls and hubbie. G-son stayed after school for a school dance this evening so she was killing time before it was time to pick him up.
I got my baking started for the day. I baked 6 caramel, 2 pound cakes, 1 applesauce cake and 1 pan of brownies.
I did chores after they came out of the ovens then spent the evening in the kitchen icing cakes and getting things ready for market.
Dorian made landfall on Hatteras island this morning doing some damage but thankfully moved on out to sea quickly.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night.
