NEW PHONE

Up to greet the kids this morning and get chores done. Hubbie took g-son to school then rode with me to take RL to pre-school. On the way home we stopped by #2 son's property since he now has a drive way into it. #1 son finished the septic and drive way yesterday and it looks really good.

His builder is supposed to start the foundation tomorrow to hopefully get the house dried in before cold weather begins.
Hubbie and I came home and grabbed some breakfast since we haven't eaten anything but bars all week for breakfast.
After we ate we headed over to daughters. Hubbie stayed with the girls while daughter and I went out to the Verizon place to upgrade our phones.
We both decided on the XR since we had a big credit toward a new phone. This phone supposedly has the best camera right now.
We can't get our new phones set up until we upload everything on our old phones to the "cloud" then download the cloud onto them.
We made a stop at Walmart and then headed home. CA was just getting hungry when we got there so that was good timing.
Hubbie and I came home and I started my baking. I baked 6 caramel, 2 chocolate, 2 pound cakes, 2 blackberry wine cakes, 1 applesauce cake and a pan of brownies.
Hubbie picked up g-son and they went to get haircuts this afternoon at the local barbershop.
It was almost chore time by the time I got the last cakes out of the ovens.
It has been another hot day with upper 80's temps feeling more like July than mid September.
We are so dry and it is so dusty outside everyone is having allergy trouble as if it were springtime.
Back inside I did weekly paperwork and the month ending paperwork for August which showed August a pretty typical month of sales for me.
I spent the rest of the evening in the kitchen icing cakes.
Hubbie went over to daughters to put screens up over her crawl space doors where they are trying to dry up all the water under her house from the leaking heat pump.
Thankful for the blessings of this day. Remembering today the horrific events of  September 11, 2001. Even 18 years later the memory is still very vivid that changed the way we live in this country forever.

God Bless and Good Night
