Got to sleep an extra hour this morning before getting up to get chores done and get ready for market.
We made it to market on time and had no customers waiting today so setting up was easy.
Daughter came in a little later with the girls and all her baked goods.
We all three took turns manning our stand and taking care of the girls all morning. Daughter is going to fill in some days for our manager who is going on vacation for 3 weeks so daughter was catching up on some of that work also.
Both girls got sleepy, tired and overheated right after we had some of the broccoli/cheese soup from the soup vendor at market and daughter left to get home so they could get good naps.
This little girl , CA is getting so big and doing so great it is almost unbelievable after the summer she has been through.
Daughter found this little pacifier for her that is especially made for heart surgery babies.
Hubbie stayed and helped me load up then he made a trip to Sam's Club and I stopped at Aldi for next weeks baking supplies.
I came home and hubbie who had just gotten home himself helped get things unloaded and put away before we took a rest break. Another hot day at market pretty much wiped me out . Hopefully this heat wave is going to come to an end soon.
A rain storm came through while we rested and left about 3/10ths more rain in the gauge.
Another tropical storm named Humberto is thankfully going to turn out to sea after giving the Bahamas another blow rain and wind.
We got up and cleaned the house while waiting for the storm to pass through before we went outside to get chores done.
There is a huge full harvest moon tonight but we can't see it here because of the clouds but this is a good pic from the area from someone that had a good view of it.
We had a nice supper for a change from a couple left over steaks from the freezer and some roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. I also made a broccoli salad for lunch tomorrow while hubbie cut up meat and put it in the crock pot for beef stew.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and thankful for the rain to settled all the dust and help our Fall garden kick into high gear.
God Bless and Good Night
