TEACHER PARADE WAS A HIT

Monday morning the beginning of another quarantine week.  It is a cold morning but thankfully staying in the upper 30's overnight helped all the blooms survive another night. Tonight is the coldest night of this week and hopefully the last of the covering up nights as the prediction for temperature moderation starts Tuesday night.
We got things uncovered and then got chores done. The wind is really making it feel colder this morning than the bright sunshine looks like it is.
I came back inside and got weekly laundry started while hubbie started working on getting a floor in the old guinea house so I can move the 2 hens with the older chicks out there so they can get some grass and get used to being out of the brooder boxes. I have 2 more hens wanting to set to refill the brooder boxes.
I have been waiting on warmer weather before I moved the older chicks.
RL came up about 11:00 to stay while her mom worked on school work. She helped me with the laundry until pawpaw came inside for lunch.
Daughter picked up school lunches and came over here with all the kids for lunch. D-in-love came back after she finished her work.
After everyone had lunch the girls played in the playroom while daughter and son-in-love loaded some of their storage shelves from the barn hall where they have been stored and hauled them to their new storage shed.
D-in-love took RL with her to be in a parade the elementary school is putting on this afternoon driving around the county waving at all their students.
Daughter and son-in-love came back and picked me and IR up to go up to the church which is on the parade route and let the kids watch the firetrucks and sheriff vehicles that were participating in the parade. We dropped son-in-love off to mow grass and met Re and her kids at the church.

 D-in-love...…..

I was impressed with the number of teachers and participants in the parade and the kids thought it was a really neat thing they did.
IR kept saying how much fun it was.
We came home and IR soon passed out along with her sister who had been here with hubbie napping while we were gone. Annnddd  Neena also took a short nap after we got warmed up from spending time out in the cool windy day.

Daughter went home when CA woke up leaving IR sleeping and hubbie took her home when she woke up.
I finished the weekly laundry and then went out to get chores done and start the covering up all the plants once again, hopefully for the last time this season.
When hubbie got back from taking IR home we worked on the floor in the old guinea house and got it finished so I can move the hens and chicks.
It is really cold this evening and the wind has died down so the cold is really settling in.
Mid 30's are predicted .
I worked on some computer work for a while tonight and then headed to bed for an early bedtime to hopefully catch up from a pretty sleepless night of tossing and turning with knee pain last night.
For some reason I couldn't get in a comfortable position that my knee didn't hurt and even when I did get to sleep I would be woke up with every movement.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
