DENTAL SURGERY OVER THANKFULLY

Neither hubbie or I slept very well last night as we both had IR on our minds and her dental surgery this morning.
Thankfully we didn't have long to wait for news this morning as she had to be there at 6:45 for a 7:00 surgery so daughter texted at 8:00 and said it was over and then about 45 minutes later called and they were on their way home.  So thankful to the Lord it went very well and IR had no trouble waking up.
Hubbie had went over and picked up CA so son-in-love could go to work so she was running around here when I got up.
I got chores finished just as RL arrived to stay while d-in-love took g-son to the dentist today.
RL and I had breakfast and then daughter called and said the power went off at her house so she and IR were coming over here. The plan was to keep IR home alone all afternoon so she could stay quiet and rest but without power that would be hard.
IR started hurting some when she got here and daughter had a swab to rub medicine on her gums to help with the soreness.
She did manage a groggy smile and said she was glad her teeth didn't hurt anymore.
This molar had a very long root and now we know why after visiting 3 different dentist no one wanted to pull it.  She also had all her other molars crowned while she was under sedation.
G-son went to one dentist to have his teeth cleaned and then to the orthodontist to have spacers put in his back teeth and have measurements for his braces. He has a crooked tooth and an overbite and crossbite that they are going to try and correct.
After everyone left hubbie and I went up to the garden to do some gleaning and he sprayed the cucumbers since some of them are wilting.
This is our garden produce for the day. Cucumbers and squash a plenty !!!
We also picked out first tomato, one of our Indigo Rose tomatoes and it tasted so good !!!
We also picked blueberries from our bushes and they were good also. The kids love to stand and pick these and eat them straight off the bush.
Thankful so far for a plentiful harvest of vegetables from the gardens this year.
I checked the bush beans this evening and they probably will provide one more run of dilly beans by the end of the week and they will be done.
Hubbie was tickled to find a couple cantalopes on his vines this evening.
We got chores done and then hubbie sprayed weed killer around the yard to keep the weeds at bay with the recent rain we had the weeds seemed to multiply and double in size overnight.
I worked in my office tonight on weekly bills and paperwork and then we relaxed for the evening.
Governor Cooper announced today that schools would be open for in class students and virtual students and left it up to the districts to come up with their own plans. We will know what our county decides on Monday hopefully after a special school board meeting.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and especially thankful to God for the easy time IR had at the dentist this morning.
God Bless and Good Night
