HELLO FEBRUARY

 Monday morning and it is another back to school Monday for g-son as schools open back up on the "B" schedule where he only goes to school on Mondays and Thursdays and is virtual the rest of the week.  He wasn't very happy to be going back as hubbie brought the truck around to pick him up to get him there. Hubbie said he never said a word all the way there.  He would choose to be virtual all the time but his mom and dad don't want him staying at home alone all the time. He has been doing school at daughter's since all students have been virtual but she also had to go back this morning. Luckily for her most of her high school students do choose to be totally virtual and she only had a total of 7 students combined today in all 4 of her classes.  I got chores done on a cold morning in the upper 20's and then had breakfast with the girls.  The girls played all morning while I got weekly laundry started. As we got ready to head out to the Honda I found IR and RL helping CA get her boots on.  I sent this picture to their moms saying this will be CA's life with these 2 older girls looking out for her !!!

We went to pick up lunch and both CA and IR went to sleep on the short trip .  Daughter said IR had gotten up really early this morning and expected her to take a nap. Hubbie, RL and I had lunch when we got home and I did more laundry.  CA woke up in about an hour but IR took a long almost 3 hour nap.  I think she has been having some night mares during the night she says from something she watched on her dad's phone .  We just can't figure out what it was.                                                              After the girls were all picked up hubbie and I watched the early news then got chores done on a windy cold evening with temps already below freezing.   We put the blankets on the outside vegetable beds but as I sit here and listen to the high winds outside I doubt they won't be blown off. The low temperature tonight is supposed to be around 20 degrees so they will probably still be okay hopefully as long as the plastic doesn't blow off.   I finished the laundry tonight and then did my skiing exercises before relaxing for the evening.   Well February has certainly come in like a lion today with all kinds of weather from snow flurries, wind and cold  to a little bit of sunshine this evening just as the sun disappeared below the horizon.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for God's protecting arms from the high winds of the overnight.
