DREARY FRIDAY

Up to greet all the grands this morning. Hubbie took g-son to school while the girls and I watched cartoons. It is another cold morning at 40 degrees.  When hubbie got back I did chores and then we all had breakfast.  The older girls have been begging to go to the walking park and have lunch  so we are watching the clouds as they thicken to see if we think we can sneak in a walk today.  We decided we had better go have an early lunch and get done before the rain comes in.  We went by McDonalds to pick them up their regular lunch and headed to the walking park .  We took hubbie's truck because it is easier to haul the strollers in the back of it rather than left and cram them in the back of my Pilot.  The road by the regular parking spot is closed for construction so we parked at another parking area on the same trail and found it to be a much easier walk because it is pretty flat walking. The girls ate all their lunch as we walked.  It started to sprinkle rain and we turned and started back with RL and IR walking instead of riding .

We made it back to the truck and got everything loaded up and headed home in a light sprinkle of rain. The temperature today is a cool 63 degrees under all the clouds.
When we turned into our driveway this huge vulture was watching us.

CA was sleeping and we put her on the couch and RL and IR came in the kitchen with us and colored in their coloring books while hubbie and I had our lunch.
CA slept most of the afternoon and the older girls were good to play quietly outside and inside .
Daughter had to go back to school to escort one of the senior wrestlers at the senior honoring match this evening so RL also stayed and played. Daughter came after them just as it was time to start chores.  After chores we relaxed for the evening. Hopefully we are past this cold spell and the temperature will start feeling like late spring instead of late winter.
Tonight it is supposed to be another low 40's night but after that it is predicted to be in the 50's overnight and 70's in the day.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
