OUTSIDE PLAY DAY

 Up to greet IR and CA this morning while hubbie went to take g-son to school. It is 35 degrees this morning for another close call with a frost and freeze.  I got chores done when he got back and then I grabbed a cup of coffee and a breakfast bar for a quick breakfast. We loaded up and headed out to get our weekly errands done.  We made stops at the PO, the dump/ recycle center, the bank and Sav Mor grocery store. We also picked up lunch for the girls at their request from McDonalds on the way home.  They ate well and then were ready for some outside play on this cool but sunny day. The temperature is in the low 60's but in the sunshine it is pretty warm.  IR wanted to ride the jeep and is getting very good at driving it around.

CA won't ride with IR even as much as IR ask her to but she is learning to ride this little green tractor.

But her favorite is still this battery-less car !!!!

It was warm enough to get out the popsicles today.

As I sat on the porch steps and watched the girls play I got to enjoy the aroma from this herb pot I fixed earlier this spring. With sage, marjoram and winter and summer thyme it is doing really well in this location.

RL came up to play as soon as her mom got home. D-in-love had g-son's end of the year band concert to go to tonight so RL stayed here until her dad got off work.  

#2 son and d-in-love-Tif came by to exchange an old battery with hubbie while everyone else was here so we got to see all the kids today. 

The gas lines continue today and our state seems to be affected the worse. The pipeline went back online yesterday evening but it will take a couple weeks to get things back to normal.

Hubbie and I got chores done and then we relaxed for the evening.
