LAST MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS EVENT FOR G-SON

Up to greet IR and CA while hubbie picked up g-son and took him to school. When he got home I got chores done and then had breakfast with the girls.  When we finished eating we all loaded up and went after our Sam's Club curbside order. We came home and got everything out away. We needed milk and several other things so hubbie took the girls outside to play while I put in an Aldi pick up order for later this morning.  CA wanted to ride with me to pick the order up so IR stayed with hubbie after lunch for more outside play time.  CA went to sleep before we had gone a mile out the road. I picked up the order and came home to get things put away. CA napped for a little while and ate a late lunch. I love this time of year when I can walk up to the garden raised beds and come back with lunch.

CA woke up just in time to ride with her sister who has been in this jeep most of the day. They love to wear matching outfits when they can.

Daughter picked up IR to go to the doctor this afternoon to have them look at a very nasty looking sore that is on the back of her neck in her hairline. It looks very infected to me.  The doctor said she definitely needed some antibiotics to help . She said it even could be the beginning of Lymes Disease if their is a tick embedded under the scab. Hopefully that isn't what it is .  It might be a spider bite or even impetago.  The antibiotic should take care of it no matter what it is.
We took CA with us and met up with everyone else at g-son's conference track meet out at North Henderson high school.  G-son still is having trouble with shin splints but did a good job jumping in the triple and the high jump today. Don't know exactly where he placed in each but his team won first place in the conference of 12 schools.

Proud of g-son for pushing through the pain of shin splints, which I have had and I know how bad they hurt, and finishing out his last middle school sports season. It is still very hard for me to believe he is going to high school next year.
Hubbie and I came home to a late chore duty tonight.
The clouds have been thick and dark all day but no rain for us and now with the heat moving in tomorrow looks like we will be carrying water for the next week at least.
Thankful for all the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night

Congratulations to g-son on his track meet. The girls are adorable in their matching outfits. Still too cold here for anything to grow in a garden.
