Up to get Sunday started. We thought IR and CA were coming this morning but daughter and son-in-love decided to take them hiking with them at Carl Sandburgs . Today is son-in-love's birthday and he wanted to spend it with all the girls. Happy 41st son-in-love !!
Hubbie and I got fixings for the hamburgers and hotdogs we are grilling today all ready before our "TV" church sermon started so we could sit down and listen today.
#1 son's family and Aa's family were out only lunch guest today and we all enjoyed the burgers and hotdogs with baked potatoes. They all left shortly after we ate to go back to work on getting pool set up at Aa's house that they had bought.
Hubbie and I worked on getting all the plants out of the basement "winter" greenhouse and out of the house.
Decided to leave this old Crown of Thorns plant right outside the basement door since it is so hard to carry and those thorns really hurt so hopefully the girls won't get into it down here.
This is another years old Citronella plant that just keeps going year after year . I always put it out in the covered patio to ward off mosquitoes.
Used this old pot holder for this large Aloe plant since it is really shady back here.
I also got my Mother's day gifts out in their summer spots today.
I got all the school FFA plants planted yesterday morning also.
As I looked at these 2 different Wisteria plants I wondered if there are different types of Wisteria since one of them is looking more like a bush and has lots of blooms on it .
And this one that is an aggressive climbing vine that has no blooms.
As we trust that spring is officially here we ended the day after chores sitting out in the covered patio sipping hot tea and coffee.
Thankful for a quiet beautiful Sunday.
