Up to greet IR and CA this morning while hubbie left to go take g-son to school. He also needed to relocate a racoon that he trapped on our front porch last night. This racoon has been outsmarting the live trap for the last couple nights but after hubbie made a new cup and wired it in the middle of the trap the racoon was trapped inside having his peanut butter snack. He is taking him farther up the creek to an open field to turn him loose this morning on his way home. When he got home I went out to get chores done. We all had breakfast and then loaded up in hubbie's truck to go run our weekly errands. We went to the PO and then stopped to meet a customer that wanted some Silkie eggs to hatch. We then headed to the dump / recycle center and then to the Fletcher feed store for chicken feed. Our last stop was at the Ingles in Fletcher to pick up some milk and a few other things we are out of. We also stopped at RL's house on the way home to let IR see Oreo the bunny. She doesn't really love animals the way RL does but she tolerates them.
We came home to have a late lunch with 2 hungry girls. IR had to take her medicine that they gave her in case she has Lymes disease and she is a champ at taking the medicine thankfully.
After we ate we all headed outside to spend the afternoon in the nice warm sunshine. We put out the hammocks and I occupied one of them with the girls on and off with me all afternoon. IR drove the jeep around with CA who is beginning to like riding in it with her.
With clouds intermittently covering the hot sun all afternoon it was a really nice time to be outside.
