Well it is till raining this morning as I get up and get out to get chores done. Hubbie is still gone with daughter to drop IR off at pre-school. Daughter took these pictures this morning of IR and CA , my how grown up they look !!!
After I came inside hubbie and CA came in to have breakfast with me. After we ate I played with CA and then went to make a cake delivery before lunch in the pouring rain. Daughter came in with lunch for IR and CA and d-in-love-Tif came in with cold cuts for the rest of us to make sandwiches from. We all enjoyed lunch and the babies .
RL who had a fever yesterday and didn't go to school today was feeling fine with no fever today so she came up to stay while d-in-love-A went to drive a bus this afternoon.
After they all left hubbie and I got chores done a little early because we had a Walmart pick-up to make around 6:45. After our order pick-up we went out in the dark after the chickens all went into their houses and moved the 9 younger pullets that are in the "bonesteel" tractor to a spot in the garden. They are in a muddy mess with all the rain so we had to make the move now instead of waiting for it to dry up. We used headlamps and got the house with all the pullets roosted inside moved along with the panels that form a lot moved and set up. All we need to do in the daylight tomorrow is put the netting back over the lot. I love having them in the garden to help build the soil.
We came inside about 8:30 which is over an hour later than usual but we have nothing to do tonight so we enjoyed a relaxing evening. There was another 3/4 inch of rain in the gauge from the on and off rain today. It is predicted that we get another dose of some summer like weather in the coming week as our temps go above normal and no rain is in the forecast.
Thankful for the wonderful blessings of this day and the ability to watch all these little girls grow up.
