OCTOBER BLOOMERS

Up to get another week started. This week looks to be completely different weatherwise than last week thankfully.

Hubbie took g-son to school but son-in-love is off today so he didn't need to ride with daughter to take IR to school. I got chores done and then we had breakfast together.  After we ate we loaded up in the truck and headed to Fletcher feed to pick up chicken feed. We stopped about 1 mile from the feed store in a massive traffic jam. I looked on my phone at the roads and there was traffic jams all around Fletcher because there had been a wreck on the interstate and all the traffic had been routed off in Fletcher. We turned around and went to Tractor Supply here in town to get the feed. It is more expensive but we need to be home for daughter to drop off EA to stay with us while she and son-in-love pick up IR from school and then take IR and CA to the movies in town for a special treat since daddy is home today.
I started weekly laundry and then hubbie and I took turns with EA while the other had lunch. She is already loving her Pawpaw !!!

She was a really good baby while she was here.
When daughter and son-in-love came to pick her up IR wanted me to help her with a scavenger hunt she needed to do before going back to school tomorrow so we found all the things on her list after walking all around the farm including into the lower pasture around the pond to find a duck !!!
Just as daughter's family left d-in-love-A and RL came by and spent the afternoon with us. RL was tired and would have went to sleep if she was at home so they stayed up here and she played outside while we drank hot coffee and tea  and watched her.
After they headed home I finished laundry and got chores done while hubbie bush hogged the upper pasture one more time this season.
As I walked around this evening I notice how many blooms there still are even this late in the season.
This one Azalea always puts out one bloom every October.
A couple of my rose bushes are putting out a few blooms.

These white Butterfly bushes are still blooming to the joy of the few butterflies that are still hanging around.
This little Hydrangea bush has out did itself this year with multiple blooms.
Some of the potted plants are still blooming.   This Crown of Thorns always reminds me of how much out Savior loves us.
These plants have been pretty all summer and are still going.

This Sedum is really pretty this year.
And this isn't a bloom but these Beauty berries are really loaded this year and the color is so vibrant.
I love taking time some days to enjoy the beauty the Lord blesses us with each day. Even when these blooms are gone there will be plenty of beauty to replace them.
Thankful for all the blessings of this day and the assurance of all the beauty yet to come.
God Bless and Good Night
