T.G.I.F. FOR SURE THIS WEEK

Pea soup was the order for the morning .

It was 51 degrees and as you can see very foggy to start this day out.
After I got g-son to school I had time to do the chores and eat breakfast before taking Dolly to town for her grooming appointment.
The fog was lifting quickly and in town the sun was already shining brightly. I dropped her off and headed straight home to get a morning walk in.
I baked cakes this morning, 6 caramel,2 coconut,2 chocolate, 2 pound and 2 wine cakes.
They called for Dolly to be picked up in only about 2 hours which was different than the normal 4 hours she usually has to stay there.
She looks so pretty,all fluffy.
A good friend that I don't get to see very often came over this afternoon to cut some curly willow from my tree to use as a display for a craft show she is doing in Pumpkintown,SC next month. I had just taken the last cakes from the ovens and she was in no hurry so we got to have a nice visit. Her name is Pam and she used to have the table next to mine in the market and we discovered our likes and dislikes were very similar and became quick friends. She had to take a full time job and gave up her market table so now we only get to visit every once in a while with both our busy lifestyles.
After she left I sewed some of the pillows I had cut out and laying on my sewing machine.
I could only make the blue ones because I am out of white stuffing and could only had light green which would show through the white pillows.
These have sold very well this summer and I am almost out of material for them. That means another trip to the Pickens flea market in the near future.
Hubbie went straight over to pick up a load of free mulch for daughter when he got off work while she was there to help him spread it. He picked us up a load on the way home and spread it on a steep bank so he can stop mowing it. We need 1 more load and so does daughter.
Talked to #2 son tonight and all the appraisals and estimates are in on the house he is buying so now it is up to the banks for at least a short while.
I iced all my cakes and am headed to bed early tonight still not feeling up to par, I have been sneezing a lot this evening.
Maybe a good night's sleep will help fend off this cold.
Grateful to God tonight for watching over my family and blessing each one of us with undeserved blessings every day.
Good Night and God Bless.
