CHRISTMAS CHOIR MUSICAL

Slept in a little late this morning as I had a hard time getting to sleep last night with my throbbing thumb. I finally got up and got a soft ice pac from the freezer and wrapped it so I could get to sleep.
That worked because I don't remember anything after I got back into bed.
It was already warm when I did chores this morning and the animals were glad to be out in the bright sunshine for the day.
Our adult choir put on their Christmas musical this morning for our church service and it was very good.
The church is beautifully decorated.
I took this pic with the camera set on "smart" setting and it darkened it and showed the lights on the wreaths and trees for more effect.
Re with Rena and Lori sang O Holy Night and everyone in our family agreed it was the best of all the songs this morning.  Their voices blended so perfectly.
We had everyone for lunch except #2 son who is delivering packages today. Lunch was roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn with rolls and sweet tea .
Everyone went separate ways this afternoon. #1 son's family went home to rest, Re and Aa went home to put EL to bed and wait for Aa's dad to come help them map out a driveway and house spot on their property across the road, daughter , hubbie and I made a Christmas shopping trip out to the mall and I picked up photos at Walgreens across town.
We got home just before chore time this evening, I hate these shorter days, it seems I just turn around and it is getting dark.
After chores we ate a light supper and then gave Bernie and Dolly their weekly bath before we relaxed for the evening.
Update on my thumb, it seems to be a bit better today, still swollen but not hurting as much as yesterday.
Looks like we are in for a mild week this week. It will be nice not to have all the ice covered waterers.

Thankful for a blessed day filled with family and the love of our savior Jesus Christ.
Good Night and God Bless.

So sorry to hear about your thumb. Praying that it gets better soon. Your church looks so pretty with all the decorations. Christmas music is my all time favorite with Oh Holy Night right at the top. We've been having the warmer temps here but along with the temps has come a lot of fog and drizzle. Blessings
