ANOTHER SLOW MARKET DAY

At least it isn't pouring rain this morning like I heard it doing just as I went to bed last night and there was only 2/10ths inch more in the gauge so it must have been a short shower last night.
It is quite nippy at 45 degrees as I did morning chores.
I made it to market with plenty time to spare since daughter brought her baked goods by on her way to a coaches meeting earlier than usual. When I got up she said she had tried to call the house phone and it was out of order. I remembered hitting the receiver on the bed room phone as I got ready for bed and wondered if I hadn't gotten it back on the hook.
I checked the internet and it was still working but all the phones were dead as doornails. I didn't have time to do alot with them this morning so I will have to figure out what is going on this evening.
Anyway I was awake 30 minutes earlier than I would've been.
Market was slow today as expected with the dreary weather, even if it wasn't raining it looked as if it would any minute all day.
I had a decent day with the four cakes that were on orders and the other things I sold. I worked between customers on getting these towels I found in my office made into towel angels. I finished 11 angels.

After market I ran the regular weekly errands , picked up baking supplies and groceries from Aldi and Walmart.
I got home around 4:30 and unloaded before the rain started.
Hubbie came in from work and we watched the first news then did chores early as the radar showed the rain closing fast on our area.
Re had to go back to work tonight for her first overnight shift and this little man came to stay with me for a while.

He was his sweet self for awhile until he decided mom wasn't coming back soon enough then he soothed himself with his pacifier and went to sleep.
When he woke up hubbie and I walked him home to settle in for the night with daddy.  Hopefully he will do fine and sleep more than he usually does for him.
As we walked over there the rain started. It is 52 degrees at 10:00 tonight.
Hubbie and I both need early bedtimes tonight.
