REDNECK REALITY TV !!!

UHHHH !!!! It was all me at 7:30 this morning as g-son arrived, although I won't complain as I know hubbie hated to see 5:00am come much worse.
After getting g-son his breakfast I headed out to do the chores. There was another 2/10ths inch of rain in the gauge and the clouds are still hanging on this morning.
As I started out on my morning walk it was cut short by a brief rain shower that left only another trace in the gauge.
This is housework Tuesday so I got an early start and figured that would have to be my exercise for the day.
I worked most of the day only taking a short lunch break and breaks when g-son needed something.
I finally put away all the red, white and blue decor for July and got out my sunflowers for August.
Each time I get these placemats out I am reminded of my baby calf bottle feeding days. This is one of my baby calves that a friend photographed and designed on these mats for a local company.

My Peace Lily that is still going and blooming every year since father-in-law's funeral has the biggest blooms this year than it ever has.
After the house was cleaned g-son and I went to the laundry out the road to take our rugs, comforters and furniture covers. He likes to go here as they have games. We had several rousing games of Foosball that gave him a bouncing rubber ball each time.
Then we played with one of the rubber balls since there were very few people in the laundry this afternoon.
He also watched some "redneck reality" TV  !!!!
After we left he laundry we went to Aldi for baking supplies and then I dropped him off at home with his mom.
Hubbie helped me unload and put things away before we watched the evening news.
After chores and supper we ended the day relaxing in the covered patio watching darkness creep in.
Grateful for the many blessings of this day.
Good Night and God Bless.

It seems having to go back to work after a wonderful vacation is such a let down. I can sympathize with your hubby. Your Salsa from yesterday sounds so good - fresh homemade is the best ever. I too will use housework as my exercise, especially if I have a lot to do. My laundry is in the basement and I too have made the request for a first floor laundry. Funny how you and i think alike. Have a wonderful day. Blessings

My least favorite part of vacation...business as usual.
