HOT SUNDAY

A little extra rest this morning makes all Sunday mornings special.  After chores and breakfast I went out to cut a bouquet of Oak Leaf Hydrangeas off my bush that needs trimming back out of the drive way to add to some Blue Hydrangeas I was given at market yesterday to make an arrangement for the communion table at church. I forgot to take a picture but this is the Oak Leaf Hydrangea bush.
Had to move this little guy out of the road this morning on my way out of the driveway.

I got to church early so I would have time to get this arrangement set up and make it to my "greeting" post on time.
We had a good sermon today from James 3:1-12 about the power of our tongues.
This interim Pastor David Horton is a very very good preacher.
After church we had #1 son's family and Aa and the kids for lunch of roast beef, oven fries, green beans, corn and biscuits. Re worked last night and needed to sleep today so she was at home in bed.
Daughter and Josh had yard work plans and #2 son was cooking for g-friend Tif's father's birthday.
After a nice visit everyone left and hubbie went to his monthly Deacon's meeting leaving me alone for a couple hours. I tried to catch a few rays out in the sunny day but the record tying 91 degree temperature was too hot to stay out long.

Whew ! It was hot out there.
After hubbie came back from his meeting We relaxed for the evening and rested up for a busy week.
Thankful for all the blessings of this day and looking forward to what He has in store for me tomorrow.
God Bless and Good Night

We had the scorching hot temps (98) here on Saturday and then yesterday our high was only 65. Way too weird for June temps. Blessings
