NEW PASTOR INSTALLATION SERVICE

Ahhhh, love Sunday mornings with a little extra snooze !!!
After chores and breakfast we got ready for church. Today was the "installation" service for our new pastor .
This is Pastor Craig Stepp and his family as they are introduced to the congregation.
The service was very special and I am sure Craig will do a great job of shepherding the congregation of Fruitland Baptist Church. There was a covered dish lunch to say thank you to Pastor David Horton for filling in as our interim pastor over the last several months and to welcome Pastor Craig but our family didn't stay. I took a caramel cake for the dessert table for my contribution to the lunch.
Looks like there was plenty food as there always is and a big cake for the occasion.

We came home to enjoy our BBQ lunch with #1 son's family , Aa and daughter. We had our next to last bag of the wedding left over BBQ from last July and it was delicious. I vacuumed packed it in my preserving machine and it is still as good as it was that July day.
We had baked french fries , baked beans and coleslaw to go with it.
We all ate our fill and everyone took some left overs home with them. We had a nice visit on this beautiful day. G-daughter and her aunt T have Valentine suckers !!
After everyone left hubbie and I rested for the afternoon as the wind outside is making even the low 60's temp feel uncomfortable.
We came out of our resting places to get chores done and give Bernie and Dolly, the 4-legged kids their weekly baths then it was back to the Sunday resting routine.
Thankful to God for the blessings of this day and asking for His blessings on our new young Pastor as he prepares to take on the great responsibility of senior pastor's duties.
God Bless and Good Night.

What a wonderful way to welcome the new pastor and his family. Your Sunday dinner sounds delicious. WE had very warm temps here also. Weather says the warm temps will be around until Thursday. I am enjoying it while it lasts. Blessings
